Easy direct flights from a nearby airport to many destinations worth visiting and most of all, affordable semi regular routes. Airline staff have never been an issue, and the smaller airports have been great to see versus the standard massive layover hubs we are all used to with the larger airlines. All and all, it is my go to flight down south and soon to be up north with many of the recently added routes.

The flight attendants on board were helpful and attentive and the captain gave good updates on flight status. Luggage came through just fine too. Each airline has issues, you're lying to yourself if you think otherwise... No one cars about your specific negative experience, I fly 6 to 10 different trips per month and overall, AA gets it right. Needless to say I'd had quite the opposite experience!!! I came in at 9 on Sunday with no life at the desk, walked up to Jasmine who was nice enough to let me know my bag was ok as a carry on. I made it through security with no line at all and to the gate just in time to have a beer and a burrito. The plane and employees on it where just like any other for any other airline I've been on, I didn't have one bad experience. My seat was clean ( window seat) and no one was in the middle seat!!! For the price and experience I'll take this anytime!!! I'm definitely coming back again. From the excellent customer service, cleanliness, comfortable seats and leg space (economy regular seat and paid for extra leg room on one flight, constant food and beverages available for long flights, and the price is right. Used twice... All is good…read more We've only flown Spirit Airlines twice and I must say both times have been reliable and we haven't experienced any delays. Both times traveling to LAS. Of course, with the cheap fares any upgrades would be an additional costs like snacks or an extra luggage placed in the overhead bin. Hubby tells me that this carrier might be our best choice when traveling short distances for a weekend getaway since we don't have to pack so much and, additionally, as long as we meet the requirements for personal items carry-on we can keep the cost low. Also, one other thing with Spirit is that I've experienced one of the smoothest landing aboard this airline. Sometimes I have to grab my armrest to prepare for landing... the landing was perfect. I just had to pay an additional $420 for a last minute flight with Southwest. As an attorney, I know the legal remedy is a full refund. As a consumer, you have permanently lost my business.
