Grizzly looking at and smelling the US Flag. If you can enlarge the pic , you will see the FLAG

We took a flight last week with Bill, This was the highlight of our Alaska vacation. We flew to Clark Lake National Park, landed twice on 2 different beaches, We saw over a dozen grizzle bears. Bill was a great pilot, a knowledgeable tour guide, and packed a nice picnic lunch for our group of 4. See the Patriotic bear picture posted below. We were about 100 yards away when the bear walked up to our plane to check out the American flag that Bill placed on the beach in front of our plane. Thanks to AAS.

All the arrangements were taken care of professionally and efficiently. Communications were easy. The day of our flight we were treated well and with generosity and friendliness that marks a well run business. Our pilot, David, was excellent and I can't tell you how excited I was to go in a float plane. It was clean, comfortable, safe and gave us great views out the windows. The pilot was easy going about most everything, but very serious about our safety and flying. I instantly respected his professionalism. Brooks Camp is incredible. We had the perfect visit. We saw so many bears and met really great people who were also having the time of their lives. We missed the crowds and could soak up all the experiences of being pretty doggone close to bears who were just being bears. We saw lots of fishing, wrastling, and moms teaching young ones. Great rangers and precautions for both us and the bears. On our flight back we flew over beaver dammed lakes, glaciers, mysteriously brilliant lakes, volcanic islands, rugged coastline, and tundra. Thanks for helping us spot the caribou! I wholeheartedly recommend this trip, and specifically Katmai Air to anyone searching for a wonderful adventure of a lifetime.

Scott picked us up at the beautiful Summit Lake Lodge on the Kenai Peninsula. From the moment we met him we knew we had found the right guy. He met us at breakfast and put together a bag lunch. After a safety check we took off for Katmai National Park. It's a long flight, but Scott made it interesting the whole way. He pointed out the major landscape features, positioned the plane for the best photo angles, and was always on the lookout for wildlife. We set down at the park headquarters and went to see the bears. Katmai is everything it is made out to be....Incredible views of bears catching salmon in the waterfall and beautiful scenery. Scott then took us to Lake Clark, taking full advantage of the long Alaskan day. Small plane is the only way to see this park unless you have a couple of weeks to spend in the back country. The scenery is absolutely stunning: glaciers, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, meadows, marshes, bears, eagles, and the majestic Mt. Iliamna. We will never forget the flight traversing the park, and Scott seemed to enjoy the experience just as much as we did. If we could give Scott and Sundance Aviation 10 stars I would. But 5 will have to do. We recommend him unconditionally.
