Waited for 1 hour came out to only take pictures of my vehicle and tell me that he had a friend 15 minutes by and a flatbed which never showed up call Dispatch who hung up in my face and said call someone else I don't want to take your call very rude. Father's Day 2024. My husband and I had just gotten back from our honeymoon the night before. We stayed in a hotel and in the morning our car had a flat tire. I called my insurance company and they dispatched Alarcon. Miguel arrived within the estimated time of arrival, was dressed professional, cleancut, and was very friendly. I told him that my tire had a slow leak the past couple of weeks and "he did not need to change the tire, just put some air in it." Thankfully, he didn't listen to me and told me he was going to take the tire off the wheel and inspect it. After removing the tire, he found a big nail in the tire! He then put some air in the tire, removed the nail and placed a plug where the nail was. He didn't have to do that; he could have just put some air in and been on his way to enjoy his Sunday afternoon. But, he is a professional and knowledgeable and did what was most safe for the vehicle and for my husband and I by removing the nail and placing the pIug. And for that, we are very grateful! Alacon's towing is incredible! My car got stuck going down a steep driveway. The first service provider my insurance called was unable to do the job with two people. They did not bring the right equipment and said that the only way they'd be able to do it I would rip the bumper off. Alacron came and was unsure if they too would be able to do it and keep the bumper intact, but he did! He even went above and beyond by fixing loose cables that tangled by the pedals because he said it was dangerous. This guy was a pro and I'm so grateful for their wonderful service. read more

After 3 cancelled professional towing services through Chrysler - Dodge who could not tow my hybrid electrical 2022 Jeep Cherokee Summit 4xe that was parked inside my garage. Christian from Alarcon is awesome! He was sent by my insurance company to tow me to a local tire repair shop. Shortly before he arrived, I found out that the tire shop couldn't service my car that day, so I was going to be stuck getting home on my own without a driveable car. Christian arrived as I was talking with my insurance company about other options. Christian was able to suggest a better tire repair shop, confirm with the shop that they were open and taking walk-ins, and answer questions from my insurance company so that they could make everything work on their side. Worst experience. Waited for the towing company for the estimate time (1hr), then called the company and they claimed they didn't get the tow truck order. However, the company had called for payment information shortly after the order was placed by the insurance company. Waited another 30 mins and tried calling again to follow up and they stop picking up their phone. Tow truck shows up almost 2 hours later, picks up the car and drops of off at the WRONG auto shop and leaves! Do not trust this company. read more

Miguel was great. I sat in my car waiting for a late client listening to the radio and of course, dead battery at least I hoped at the time. I have a Kia so called Roadside service (also great by the way and free for 10 years/100k miles) and was told 25-55 minutes that someone would come. Miguel showed up just after the 55 minute mark but he had me charged up in 5 minutes and I was ready to go. He was friendly and polite and a great smile. read more

Everything went wrong. 1 11-2 last time time they said. next the driver said he didn't understand any English. than when driving driver was constantly on the phone. Then I was trying to call to clarify the price of my toe and three times I waited 10 minutes and then I get cut off. Then when I finally spoke to a woman, I said I couldn't afford $500 only half of that so I could drop my car wherever that got me, the driver was going to pass my house anyways so they said go ahead and take it to your home. Then the driver took my car and went and charged 500. The next day I call and speak with the driver and what a surprise when all of a sudden he speaks English. So unfair that they could just charge whatever they want on my credit card when I already agree with one price. Something seems shady about that because normally you have to confirm and sign, but there was none of that. read more

My car was stuck in a garage with very low clearance in SF, maybe 6'5" - they found a way to get my car in neutral and put it on dollies to pull it out from deep in the garage after 3 other towing companies wouldn't even attempt it! Avoid. Got assigned for towing via AAA. It's been 2 days and they stated they would pick up my car to tow. They closed my AAA claim as completed and towed, even though my car is still in the same spot. Called them and they said, yes we are on the way. Looks like it takes more than 2 days to get here. Alarcon Towing was dispatched to tow my car via my insurance company after my parked car was hit by another car and damaged significantly. My insurance helped me find a body shop that was authorized and would accept a car during non-business hours (according to my insurance company). When the tow company arrived, I double checked with them before they took my car that the selected body shop does in fact accept cars during non-business hours (this took place on a Sunday) and they confirmed this. Fast forward to Monday morning, I call the body shop to schedule an appointment to go over the damage estimate, and they said they did not have my car. Of course I panicked and asked if they could look around. The kind people at the body shop went out of their way and ended up finding my damaged car at a coffee shop across the street and the car key in their mailbox. This is completely unacceptable. This body shop clearly did not have an after-hours car drop-off system, yet the tow company (and my insurance) assured me they did. They could have at minimum called me or my insurance to re-route the tow to a location that does accept vehicles during non-business hours or check to see if it is OK to leave at the coffee shop instead of not informing me of anything. Very disappointed in this situation and wasted a lot of time hunting down my car. read more

We called AAA for a day and a half before they found this company with the right vehicle to get it out from two stories below ground. Professional and quick. Had locked keys inside my vehicle early in the morning. When I called them, I told them the type of vehicle and location and they put me on hold and when they came back quoted me a price which I accepted. After they showed up, they had DOUBLED the price because he said it would take longer.Being very late I was tired and accepted the work to be done. He had the door unlocked in less than 5 minutes. I was visiting San Francisco this past weekend, when my car decided not to start. I called AAA and they told me they would have to transfer me to Northern California AAA, because my own AAA only covers Southern California. I finally talked to someone and they connected me to Alarcon's towing. Their technician (I believe his name was Alejandro) showed up within 45 minutes and he was very helpful and he knew the problem right away. We drove to his job and they were able to start my car and send us on our way. Miguel called us on our way home and made sure we were okay and to see how the car was running. Great customer service and communication with Alarcon. I'm out of town for work and my wife is on her way to pick up our kids from school when our car dies and won't start up again. Our insurance company dispatches 2 towing companies who either never show up, don't answer their phone (and their voicemail full), or show up but can't tow the car (and fails to call me to let me know so we lose 30 minutes wondering what's going on). 3 hours after our first call to the insurance company, they dispatch a 3rd company: Alarcon. What a difference! They actually answer their phone so I can get ETA so my wife can take a Lyft back to our car with kids. They say they'll be there in 35 - 40 minutes and they show up lickety-split in about 25 minutes. They are able to get the car onto their tow truck (which is sort of the basic function you need from a towing company). The driver lets my wife ride in the tow tow truck so she doesn't have to wait for a Lyft to get back home. Then he helps her push the car into our garage, so that it's not left parked on the street and subject to break ins or City tickets for street sweeping the next morning. To top it off, the tow truck driver refuses to accept a tip when my wife offers. This company and the driver went out of their way to help us, which was peace of mind knowing my wife was being helped since I was out of town. This company isn't just a "blow and go" outfit trying to make a quick buck and get to the next job. They actually treat their customers with respect and go above and beyond to help out their fellow human beings in stressful situations. read more

Bullshit company very slow. Takes a act of Congress to have you're money refunded to you. 5 to10 days for a electronic refund? They are happy to take you money in seconds but it takes 5 to 10 business days if they even refund you. I'm still waiting for my refund. read more
