What I like about Lumberton Dental is that they accept cash payments for dental work which is good for me because my Medicare doesn't pay for Dental or Vision! They will also work with you on your payments and your office visits and that works out very well for me! I can stretch out my visits to fit my income, pay my bills and pay my dentist!!! I'll tell that when you come here you'll feel so at ease that if you get left in your chair too long while he's tending to another patient, you might find yourself wanting to take a short nap! I was very specific when booking the appointment of what I'd like done (a cleaning) and I was assured that on the appointment date it would happen. While making the appointment, I verified 2 times what the price would be so there would be no surprises later. Imagine my surprise when I came in for my appointment, verified at check in the price and services that day, and was sat down/prepped, and told the price would be 3x the amount at the end, and they wouldn't even do the cleaning that day (only X-rays and a check up). I work internationally, and the days that went by when I made sure to verify multiple times was a waste. After speaking up about the bait and switch I was given when I made the appointment, the person in charge (there was no team leader present that day) said she'd issue a refund and provided me a receipt of the refund. Checking my bank statement a month later and I see that the charge was still there, and not removed or refunded. I received no care, I was misinformed, and I was scammed at still being charged. Please avoid this practice! The dentist near Kroger was far more helpful and honest.
