I have some understandable anxiety about dental procedures, especially when it comes to needles, and I involuntarily flinched during the anesthetic injection. Instead of offering reassurance or understanding, I was met with condescension and made to feel ashamed for my reaction. Ultimately, Dr. Dabel decided not to complete my dental work that day, without offering a clear explanation, leaving me feeling embarrassed and unsettled. While the rest of the staff showed compassion, I cannot recommend this office for anyone who struggles with dental anxiety or is looking for a dentist with patience and empathy.

After going to the dentist on Tuesday, I was told I needed a root canal, and my dentist referred me to this location. I am leaving on a long trip at the end of the week & the office was able to get me in at 7:30am Friday morning for a root canal consultation with possible procedure. I was terrified of the pain that came along with a root canal, but have to say how impressed and relieved I am with the work they did. The only pain I felt came from the numbing shots (which yes, hurts, but a small price to pay considering what else they have to do to the tooth). There was zero nerve pain, and while I could feel pressure, there was no zinging or jump-scare pain the entire time. The doctor worked with a sense of urgency, provided laughing gas (extra cost), and I watched a movie with headphones on the whole time. I had the root canal done 4 hours ago and I'm in minimal after-pain with the help of the ibuprofen prescription provided. The doctor was super professional, polite, explained things, etc - can't say enough good things. All in, the cost was approx. $1k. I hope I never have to do it again, but if I do, I'm glad to know I can go back here!

They are just on another level when…read moreit comes to root canals with their equipment and expertise and can handle the difficult root canals that general dentists aren't equipped to do or perhaps correct a mistake of a previous dentist *cough* after you've already got a crown or already had a root canal that didn't get sealed up right or whatever other horror show you're dealing with. Honestly, I'm even debating whether I would just come here first even for a more routine root canal which hopefully I won't need because they are so precise and don't drill the holes any bigger than they need to be. Cost-wise, they ARE more expensive than your regular dentist if you're comparing apples to apples but you're really not comparing apples to apples here because all they do here is root canals and specialize in it. Having said that, I felt the price wasn't outrageous and fair given the quality of work and saving my tooth. The only room for improvement is getting the notes and referral papers back and forth from your general dentist and them. They not only did not receive the notes my dentist had sent them but they also failed to send their notes to her on that day so you might want to call and double check that they got everything before you go there and have to pretend to be a dentist- pro tip: If you want to sound smart, remember the tooth numbers and use fancy terms like "referred pain".

So remember if you see tons of good reviews many were written from the office itself under their watch. My tooth never had pain until they did the root canal, which it seems I didn't even need as my issues have been only allergies. Now the jaw is in more pain than ever before and after a highly costly procedure I'm left trying to figure out what to do before I can even attempt to crown it, when its possible I didn't even need this treatment at all.
