I called Dr. Nguyen's office to ask them for an emergency visit and they were very nice about it. Upon my mother's arrival she was impressed with the staff. She could barely speak due to the pain she was in but they still made her feel at ease and welcome. After she saw Dr. Nguyen, my mother told me she was smitten by the doctor's knowledge and compassion to help. Dr. Nguyen explained the details of the procedure and the followups that were needed. That day Dr. Nguyen had to make some schedule changes so that my mother could get the urgent care. My mother was quite touched that Dr. Nguyen did that for her. My mother continues to see Dr. Nguyen for her follow up procedures over the last two years. Anytime she comes in for her appointments the staff was professional and courteous. They all know my mother by name. I am very grateful to Dr. Nguyen for the work that she did for my mother. My mother is more confident with her smile because of her new teeth. She was smiling ear to ear at her 50th Anniversary showing off her teeth. As the story goes my mother is now referring her siblings and their spouses to Dr. Nguyen from Texas and California. First, they put a crown on a badly prepared tooth, and catching it in xrays, told me they'd "wait…read moreand see if it developed a problem". Soon after they tell me xrays show I've a cavity formed under my crown, it has to come off. Fine. But they expect me to pay the costs of their mistake. After augueing they offer to do the cavity cleanup for free, but I have to bear the costs of creating a new crown (my insurance will only cover one crown per tooth, so no help there). So I'm searching for a new dentist. Also, I was silly enough after this to return the next day for a cleaning. They did the least possible, glossing over the flats of my teeth, not touching the curving portions or the edges. Also since then still another filling they did has fallen out! Failing fillings is my standard experience there.

This is terrible dental practice. My first treatment there I had to have a few wisdom teeth…read moreremoved. When I arrived to my appointment they had a "temp" dentist who the dental assistant tried to convince me to reschedule because the temp dentist wasn't good at pulling teeth. Mind you this was when I arrived for my appointment. I was already there and didn't have anymore sick time to use so I told them I can't reschedule. So the temp dentist did the work on me. She did the best she could but she wasn't strong enough to remove a part of one of my wisdom teeth and referred the rest of the work to an oral surgeon. So I return a few months later because I broke a tooth. I made an appointment to get a root canal and they assured me they had a legit in house dentist NOW and he was able to do all the work I needed. The next week they call me and tell me they have to cancel my appointment because the dentist couldn't order the supplies he needed in time and that they could refer me to another dentist. This place is terrible. It's the worst dental practice I have ever come across in my life.

No root canal necessary! He and his assistant made me feel very comfortable during the procedure. Needless to say, Dr Sonnier is my new dentist :)
