Dr. Laughlin really cares for his patients, and he'll be the first to tell you he doesn't want to see his patients suffer from any pain at all! I agree, I don't want to suffer any pain at all!!! He really good though and he'll keep you laughing the entire time, just a really down to earth guy. All of his staff and his assistants are very good and take very good care of you while your there. What I like about Lumberton Dental is that they accept cash payments for dental work which is good for me because my Medicare doesn't pay for Dental or Vision! They will also work with you on your payments and your office visits and that works out very well for me! I can stretch out my visits to fit my income, pay my bills and pay my dentist!!! I'll tell that when you come here you'll feel so at ease that if you get left in your chair too long while he's tending to another patient, you might find yourself wanting to take a short nap! I'm keeping this place for all my dental work.

Waited 2 weeks for an appt here and was very clear when it was made. Said I already had a dentist, and all I needed from them was an impression and retainer ordered. They said this was not an issue. Arrived for my appt to a mountain of paperwork. Ridiculous, but completed. Waited until I was called. I was taken to get x-rays. I reiterated that I was only there for them to take an impression of my teeth and order a retainer. Was told the x-rays were required. Got up and walked out. They do not in any way need to have a full set of x-rays to take an impression or order a retainer. Just blatant insurance abuse, if not fraud. If I allowed them to do them, and charge my insurance company, then that service would not be available for my actual dentist when it was time. I will order them from an online provider.

They would need work but they would and could be saved!! Well when I came back to dowlen dentist office to give him the news from the office he sent me to. He told me, that ge stood by his first diagnosis which was to still pull my 9 teeth!! What kind of dentist wants to pull 9 teeth from anyone let alone a woman who he now knows the teeth can be saved!! I recommend that no one ever go to his office! What a terrible doctor!! What a horrible experience!! No compassion. He didn't even follow up with the specialist he sentenced too! Insane!! Don't go there!! RUN FROM THAT OFFICE IMMEDIATELY!!
