Full hookups so you don't have to carry/use a honey truck and sometimes that's a huge bonus. Good number of on site restrooms/showers and code lock doors to keep out undesirables (unfortunately that's really common these days) Cameron's resturaunt is adjoined to the RV park and food is pretty good. Karaoke on Friday/Saturday evening made for a fun time. Took May grandson out biking and the access to trails coastside avoiding any need to be near a road was a super plus. Close to beaches, but no direct quick access from the park grounds.

First and foremost, I would like to say our family enjoyed our stay here. Lori, the manager, is…read moresuch a nice women and is extremely kind and helpful, we had no issues getting a long term spot for my husband due to his constant change in jobs so he is constantly changing locations for work and they were able to get us a spot immediately for long term stays. The location is great, near downtown and close to everything you need like shops, grocery stores and gas stations. The bike trails that lead to the ocean from the RV Park are INCREDIBLE, we went on bike rides everyday! Side note: I grew up in Half Moon Bay, our family currently doesn't live here anymore but I have a long history with the town and the people who live there. Secondly, At the end of our families stay, we were informed by the park that they were getting complaints about our children... saying they were being too loud, people would occasionally hear them crying, we were playing music (during the day) and they could hear our kids running around inside the trailer.... Our children are 4 and 1 years old.... They were being KIDS!! So someone near us, was that bothered by our children, they had to make a huge deal about it and report us to the front office... My husband has not lived at home in almost 4 years due to his job so when my children and I would come see my husband it was for a week at a time, and that is the ONLY time we get to see him. We have to travel to him, otherwise we don't get to see him AT ALL. I understand nobody knows our situation, which we dont expect people too, but it also made us feel extremely unwelcome after that phone call we received, it made us feel extremely uncomfortable and we felt like we were now being watched because our kids had a couple "bad days". Being from Half Moon Bay, I took this news extremely personal, it made us feel like we were getting "kicked out" or "warned" that if it didn't change, they were going to ask us to leave. All because someone can't handle children being children. My husband has lived in 8 different trailer parks all up and down California and Nevada the last 4 years and we have NEVER had complaints towards our family. There are a ton of retired, working and older tenants who live there full time and apparently some forget what it's like to have kids, or they've never had kids themselves. Unfortunately, we did decide to leave the park. At that time my husband had already lived there full time for over 3 months. My husband was not comfortable having us come visit him if we felt unwelcome and felt like we were going to be watched each time we came. Especially telling our children they can't be themselves while they're there because some people have issues with kids. We genuinely enjoyed our stay there, we had such a great time creating memories as a family, until we didn't. I do recommend staying here if your doing a short term stays because you're gone in a few days so it's not enough time to create an issue, but if you have children and are looking for a long term place, I would not recommend it unless you "KEEP THEM ON A TIGHT LEASH" which is what was told to our new tenant by the park when moving in. And to the front office, I did not create this post to have you reply or feel like you need to "stick up" for your RV Park, it's a GREAT park, I just don't think it's GREAT for children which is the focus of my posting. Thank you for allowing us to stay there for the time we did, but it was time for us to go.

And it was beautiful so who really won? I don't recall which trail we did, but the views were nice. There's not much shade along the trail we took so I'd say wear a hat if you can and stay hydrated. Once in a while, we saw a random cow walking along which was cool. This place is popular - we saw a lot of families and bicyclists when we were here.

The trail was absolutely beautiful, even with a light drizzle along the way. Rain or shine, we still show up and that's something I'm really proud of. I'm so happy to say that my stamina is getting stronger with every hike. Each time we head out, I can feel the progress. The hills feel a little less intimidating, the miles go by a little easier, and my confidence grows a little more. When we reached the top and looked out over Lake Del Valle, the view was breathtaking, calm, peaceful, and completely worth the climb. Moments like that remind me why I keep pushing forward. Growth doesn't happen overnight, but step by step, mile by mile, I'm getting better. And thank you, Hubby, for always motivating me and believing in me. Having someone by my side who encourages me to keep going makes all the difference. Here's to starting the Lunar New Year strong and continuing to chase every goal ahead of us.

We thought maybe the parking lot would be better since the last reviews since some time has passed but I think it's gotten a lot worse. We basically drove into the parking lot and left without even getting out of the car. The parking lot for this park has become a home for sketchy RVs and abandoned vehicles, there are also tents set up. We don't care if you grew up enjoying this park, or... that it may be people's first impression of the city if they are entering through Niles Canyon. Over the last few years this eyesore has morphed into a defacto encampment of broken down RV's and cars. Right now there is about 12 or so RV's and the assortment of cars, boats and bicycles that go along with them... The city shut it down for a clean up last year, for a very short while... If you're gonna let em stay they need outhouses and dumpsters, at the very least. While I feel for all homeless people & families you just can't start free encampments everywhere with no services. When I was a teenager the police used to close it down at dusk. The sign still says open sun up to sundown, and no alcohol! My roadtrip is over, welcome back to Fremont indeed, sickening!

As a newer RV owner, I especially appreciated how incredibly easy it was to access the park and our spot. That simple convenience took away a lot of the initial stress of driving a big rig and is a huge plus. The park itself is top-notch. Our spot was absolutely huge, giving us plenty of room to spread out. The entire resort is super clean, and the restrooms and showers were spacious and spotless--a real pleasure to use. A major bonus for us was that they even have designated areas for tent setups, which meant our "tent camping" friends were able to join us for the weekend. But the true magic of this location is its unbeatable proximity to everything. We were within easy walking distance of fantastic shopping, dining, and even some fun bar hopping with fancy distilleries nearby. The Marina is also just a short stroll away, where we spent time sitting and watching the otters and sea lions--it was absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. We were so close to every amenity and attraction that we didn't even unhook the truck from the camper the entire weekend! Finally, I have to give a massive shout-out to the amazing host. He greeted us the second we drove in and personally walked us to our spot. He even offered a 50-amp 'dog bone' adapter because he noticed my camper was 30-amp--talk about thoughtful service! Every time he walked his adorable boxer, he would stop to greet us and check in, making sure we had everything we needed. He was consistently available and incredibly friendly. We are already planning our next trip. We will for sure be back! If you're looking for a clean, convenient, and perfectly located RV park in the Bay Area, this is it!

Found this park by accident and I'm so glad I stopped to check it out!…read more I did a hike on Castleridge trail and drove by this park on my way out. Small park but it's filled with the history of Pleasanton! This is a historical landmark and you can visit the last remaining adobe house in California. The adobe house was the first to be built in Pleasanton and the tenant family farmers actually lived there back in 1898 to 1917. The house was very unique with a family room, bedrooms, kitchen and dining area. Everything was furnished as it would have been in the 1920s so that was pretty neat to see. The community park also included a replica of Meadowlark Dairy. Worth a visit if you are in town or after a long hike! Plenty of parking available and it's free so definitely stop by.

Wow what a treasure in Pleasanton!…read more The city of Pleasanton invested a ton of time and money to restore this 1859 adobe and make it safe for visitors. They have done one fantastic job! They have several charts that show the progression of the Adobe over time. In 1854, when it was first built, it was actually quite small with only three rooms. Then there was an extra area added, and eventually it sort of merged with the small northern adobe. Besides the Adobe building itself, you can go into the visitor center, where a nice docent will take your kids on little hikes and nature walks. There's tons of other information inside that building. I especially like the information and the photos about the Meadowlark Dairy operation. While you're here, your kids can try roping the calf, or even milking a real cow. Well okay, it's not a real cow, and it's water instead of milk, but you get the idea. A lot of fun for kids of all ages. It's located on Old Foothill Road. Easy to get to. I had no problem whatsoever with parking. Has a drinking fountain and clean restrooms with baby changing tables as well.
