There is a small kids playground by these courts. Another part of the upper area consists of a large lawn area, which is plenty big for several different sports. There are two baseball diamonds and a medium size playground. The bathrooms are located by the baseball diamonds. Near this area is also a butterfly garden. When you walk to the lower area, there is a large gazebo which is nice for parties. There are two volleyball courts that consist of sand. The remaining area is fairly large and consist of lawn. The park parallels the Stanislaus river and there are several access points to enjoy the water. This park can get fairly busy on the weekends.

When the water is low it only comes up to your knees in most places and deep areas up to your waist. This part of the river is mostly sandy instead of rocky. The city keeps the park well maintained and there appears to a community center along with public restrooms, a butterfly garden, a large gazebo area and a volleyball area. Went on Labor Day and was surprised there were no crowds, especially since there is no entrance fee. You can either park in the park and walk to the river or you can park in a city parking area with paved trails leading towards the river. No BBQ grills or tables near the river but they do have lots of garbage bins so bring your dog, camp chairs and a picnic basket and soak in the natural beauty.

So if I have to pay $1.13 more for a lure here, I'd prefer to do so. What you will get here? VERY knowledgeable service, from competent guys, a majority of whom all fish. Several of the guys here fish the same bodies of water I fish & they gave me some excellent tips. Selection is wide. Service is above the bar. For example; I purchased a spinning reel here. For injured at work, couldn't use it for almost 2yrs. Came here 2yrs later & asked them to help me figure out how to switch it from right hand to left handed reeling. NO PROBLEM. The fella right away said "I see what the issue was" and in less than 2min buddy had this reel set up. It was a user error issue & I overlooked one basic piece. Two years after a purchase & these guys are there to help me figure it out. We buy tackle here regularly & hope to see them remain open. We bypass bass pro most of the time to come here. lol. Great locally owned tackle shop.

There's a giant artificial sequoia tree you walk through with an artificial rock ridge line in the rotunda with rams on the ridge. This location seems to stock more combo fishing rods. As for the rest of the fishing supplies it's about the same as the Sacramento location. On the outside grounds theres a small pond where you'll see families with their kids fishing. I purchased a 2023 Sun Tracker boat from Bass Pro Shops in Manteca and unfortunately my experience…read morehas been extremely disappointing from day one. The boat had ongoing issues immediately after purchase, and despite multiple attempts over several months to get them resolved, the problems were not properly addressed. After significant delays, the boat was finally inspected and a hole in the console was discovered, which was allowing water intrusion into the vessel. I brought the boat in for repair expecting a resolution, but when it was returned, the condition was actually worse. Components were loose, poorly fitted, and the overall workmanship was unacceptable. The original issue was not fully resolved, and additional problems appeared after their service work. At this time, Bass Pro Shops in Manteca still has possession of my boat, and I have been unable to get any clear communication or updates despite multiple attempts to follow up. My calls are not being returned, and I'm being left without answers or a timeline for resolution. To make matters worse, the warranty service department has stated that the issue is not their responsibility and that it falls on the dealer, who they believe caused the damage during service. I am now stuck in the middle with no one taking responsibility, no repair progress, and no clear path forward, which has been extremely frustrating and concerning given the cost and seriousness of the purchase. At this point, I am extremely concerned about the quality control and service standards. For a major purchase like a boat, I expected far better support and accountability. I hope management takes these issues seriously and improves how warranty and repair cases are handled for customers.

I used to drive hours to go to the Eddie Bauer outlet and I don't have to now! I do a lot of outdoor activities; hiking, fishing, walking, traveling, going to the outdoor gun range, etc. Their clothes are extremely practical for these activities. Comfortable and they keep the sun off of you. They fold neat and are lightweight for travel. I even have my wife, daughters, sons, son-in-law and grandchildren getting into the 5.11 mode. My grandson loves the caps that have cool Velcro patches you can interchange. 5.11 gift certificates are always a go-to option for birthdays, etc. As far as customer service, they are beyond great. At Eddie Bauer and Columbia I get the obligatory "hello" and "welcome to the store." That's it. 5.11 employees know their stuff and go out of their way to tell you about deals and new products. The manager in Turlock, Alexandra, is an absolute gem. I have gotten to know her and Stephanie (another great lady) from shopping at the store.
