We came to this restaurant for dinner on our last night in Cadiz mainly because we wanted to get oysters and for some reason it doesn't seem like they have much of an oyster culture in this city. We had the arroz al senorito, which is a rice dish similar to paella but it's not the same thing in terms of it's moistness. The female server advised us to get the arroz serving for 4 people which was plenty of food. We also had a grilled fish and of course some local oysters. The seafood was very fresh.
Our servers (Oscar, Pablo and Inma) were very attentive and friendly, but at times there seemed to be confusion as to whether our orders were placed or whether a certain dish belonged to our table vs the table next to us. We were actually brought two grilled fish instead of one, we pointed this out to our server who said it's just a big fish filleted in half. We knew this was incorrect so we mentioned it to another server who realized the error and took the fish away from our table. These mistakes were not huge by any means, just some lack of attention. read more
