This little spot was amazing! Javier our server was so friendly and recommended the best dishes. The hubby had a meat dish that was so tender it fell apart with a fork-delicious! I love anchovies so I had their small appetizer for one and it was spot on. I also had a fish in salsa- sooo good. We finished off with their cheesecake which is not like American cheesecake. More mild with a different texture and also good but their strawberry ice cream which was more like a gelato and their side of fresh whipped cream stole the show. Their cafe con leche was also one of the best I have had on our 2 week long trip. On top of that the restaurant has so much character- get there early to snag a seat inside. Very good. Did some research, then we got several positive reviews. My Spanish is passable, but this seems more like a local place. I had a tough time communicating. The bartender almost didn't want anything to do with me, but several of his cohorts helped out. Very good selection of entrees as well as tapas. No sangria either. We would go back, but I'll get better prepared when do. Ambiance is fine; outside of inside. No tapas outside. read more

Stayed in Cadiz for about a month and kept coming back. The food is amazing, and always came out quick. Everyone is very friendly too.

Hands down, the best tapas bar in Cadiz. Service is very fast and efficent and the food is great! lengua(tongue) , Solomillo and albóndigas(meat balls) with Roquefort cheese are to die for! Only thing is : As usual in Spain, if the staff feels you are a tourist, they will try to send you to the back tables(the restaurant, where they have a different menu. We love this restaurant! After only 2 weeks in Cadiz we have been 3 times. The meatballs in pepper sauce are delicious! The Iberian ham is very tasty. My kids love the scrambled eggs with Chorizo. The service is great. All the staff is incredibly friendly, especially considering our Spanish is quite limited. read more

This place was fantastic! Great hidden gem of Cadiz. The Brie & jamon iberico montaditos are delicious! And the meatballs in Roquefort sauce are too good. Their prices are fair and their portions are reasonable. The place is well loved so its always crowded but you can shimmy your way up to the bar & get decent service.
