The computer didn't recognize the barcode sticker that was installed on the windshield. So we couldn't enter. Meanwhile, cars were backing up behind us as a young man walked slowly from the gate to the building and back three times. Eventually another young man walked up and asked what was wrong. We explained, gave him once again the last four digits of the card used to enroll, the name, tag number etc. Cars continued to back up behind us. I asked him to use his code to pass us through so the other customers could be served. After a couple of minutes he did so. We paid for the most expensive wash, but didn't get all of the promised services. For example there is a horizontal buff wheel that is supposed to polish your car at the end of the tunnel. It didn't work. When we told one of the workers, his reply was simply, "okay." I also mentioned that their floor mat washer was inoperative. He told me that it had not worked in a while. Three day before this, I had mentioned this issue to one of the employees. He said that he would talk to the manager. I showed him how my car had not been cleaned on top. There was sand on the sunroof, and he told me that with my membership, I could return the following day to have it washed again. I explained that I paid for it to be cleaned every time and that I had neither the time nor the inclination to come back everyday until my car was clean. This is apparently the kind of service that Rich's gives. If not, I hope someone responsible there reads this and contacts me about continuous bad experiences with their equipment and employees. If it's not the way they wish to be represented, maybe they will contact me and make things right for me, and for you. Because if they treat people with multiple memberships like this, what shpuld you expect? Why rate them as high as a 2? The water was on...

There was a slight mishap when pulling out of the service bay and they ran over the safety cone. However it didn't do any damage. They were apologetic and even put on my receipt that it happened and I could take my car somewhere to be looked at independently. They have my trust and we even brought our other car back a couple of days later to be serviced.

There was no wait when I pulled in and the friendly employees changed my oil right away. They also checked the other fluids in my car and topped off the windshield washer fluid. They checked my air filter and told me I didn't need a new one. Yay for honesty because I would've never known the difference! They also replaced one of my tag lights for an additional $8. My total bill was about $80, including that $8 light, which is still more than I pay at the place I normally go to, but not enough to really make a difference.

They are at fault and even though a claim is opened with their liability insurance they are replacing my engine with one from scrap yard. No lost wages for my time list from work and they are now leaving me with no rental car with 7 days left until my repairs are done at the dealership. How shameful. I work an hour away and have no way to get up work next week. Stay away from this shop. They don't care about customers.

Back in April of this year I took my wife's car to Christian brothers. I had the coils and spark…read moreplugs were placed with parts I had purchased from Ford. I understood that they would not warranty the parts themselves, but I did expect them to be installed properly. My wife's car had 103,000 miles on it at this point and within a month of Christian brothers replacing all the coils in spark plugs one of the coils burned out. I had a reputable mechanic replace it thinking it was just an oddity. Within a few more weeks 2 more coils were dying. My wife thought it might be transmission problems and took it to a reputable transmission shop they ran the OBD2 and it showed that the coils in a couple of cylinders were going bad. Within 10 minutes of that diagnosis my wife had the car to Christian brothers. at this point there ws 107,000mi on the car. She showed them OBD2 the report and they basically thumbed their noses at it and said they had to run their own even though it's the same report. This cost I believe around $160, for the exact same test. They were rather curt about it to her, at this point she was exasperated and took it back to the other reputable mechanic who looked at the report and said, yes I see. I had him just go ahead and replace all the plugs and coils again. When I went to Christian brothers to discuss this matter with them they said because I provided the parts they have no warranty even though on the Christian brothers invoice it clearly says "Christian brothers automotive guarantees proper installation of guest supply parts that are designed manufactured and suitable for the guests vehicle in its current condition." I provided the parts Ford sold me and CB agreed that they were the right parts. They (CB) failed to gap the plugs. My wife's car requires a 0.031 gap and CB left the gap at 0.060 and said not gapping is "industry standard". While that is a standard excuse maybe, the mechanic should have been astute enough to check to make sure that he was properly installing them. The over gap caused the coils to work twice as hard or more than they would have if properly gapped the new plugs, thus burning the plugs and damaging the new coils. Gapping is basic engine maintenance practice. When I used to do my own maintenance, way back when, that was the first thing I did...gap the plug properly. Christian brothers does not want to honor this warranty. I am only happy that their mistake did not destroy my wife's car engine. If CB as a company really stands by their own warranties, they should refund their charges and the cost of having them all replaced again because of their improper installation.

I got the gasket replaced for a very competitive price. Recently I had spark plugs/coils replaced and they let me buy my own quuality parts and they installed them without an upcharge. Just the labor from the standards book. They have done several other smaller mechanical jobs as well. All done timely and well. I further commend Jake and his front office staff for what is top notch courteous service. I find this shop an invaluable asset as a Senior who relies on the car (s) (including one semi vintage). I used to do minor repairs but time and lack of work space take a toll. I rely on Precision and commend them highly.
