Great experience . Then he had to leave as his shift ended while we were in the middle of getting things figured out on my available options, well after that my man Joe the service manager ; stepped in and not only figured out and finalized the absolute best option , better than I could've asked for , but he just went above and beyond even that awesome situation that both he and Alexander created for my particulate issue , I know this is a long review , but theee guys were just true gentleman. Also, I might add, they were quite busy during all this and in particular the second half of this when Joe stepped in to help , he was running the place by himself . Thanks a million y'all are awesome thanks and God bless y'all! I wanted to add additional comments that I Almost forgot, not to anyone's fault but my own because all these guys certainly made. Memorable impression on me tonight. Kenny also was a gem He actually was a big part and helping us find the tire that we originally thought didn't exist after thinking it did exist so he came in with the clutch and he was just a great guy. Super knowledgeable super friendly, cool cat very happy to meet him and grateful for for his hard work. Then there's Chris young man's got white years of potential ahead of him. He's a young guy hustling around there doing work getting it done ,yes sir no sir ,hard to find that in his generation if I'm quite honest, not that I'm really old but I'll say that I got the pleasure of talking to him for a while too and he is a heck of a kid heck of a man really And he's going places they need to look at him for potential of moving him in some managerial position. Whenever time comes should he want that. If nothing else all these guys deserve a little bit of a raise I know Pep Boys has the money you wanna keep good employees pay a little bit more a little bit goes along way too. Things aren't cheap these days. You gotta keep good help around and if I was Pep Boys, I'd want to keep all these guys around. It certainly would improve their lives greatly, and affect Pep Boys, none if there is any of these guys pay all their pay but that's my two cents what do I know? I'm just a successful small business owner. Anyways, that's that it's a long review. Hope people read this and understand what the deal is now sometimes when you come in here they might be slammed. They might've had a bad day, so be patient that's with anywhere you go understand that they've got a lot of things that tie hands up and all they wanna do is get the best thing for you, so if you need to have some get some patience, but most likely you won't run any situations where you'll need those cause these guys will certainly take care of y'all. Peace and love to all, be goor to each other and yourselves.

Lets start with the fact that I just needed my A.C. fixed (it…read moreis advertised that they fix A.C.s when you call); but ended up with consistent issues since... 2 years later. They broke my aluminum hose for the compressor, said I did it, and after I constantly went back (my fault ik) for the same issues that were under warranty they said they no longer felt comfortable servicing my vehicle. Come to find out here recently.. after series of issues, the new compressor I asked for is actually refurbished and wasn't even mounted correctly and caused a few more thousand dollars in repairs. (Like hand tightened bolts or even missing ones.) Now you could say someone else could have messed with the compressor since then... sadly I do not go to the mechanic enough for that to be possible. :)

Took a lawnmower tire here to fix a puncture. They don't plug, only patch. However, it looks like…read morethey plugged it (maybe they did both). The staff was nice and the facility was clean. Took about 45 minutes to fix, website states 15 minutes. I thought the price for the patch was kind of high, $25. I think I'll stick with tire works which is also in Saraland (at least for tires). I believe I've paid $10 there, and I know they have done it free for me there too. That's all I can say at this point because that's the only service I have done (tire patch). They did say that it would cost $125 for an oil change on a GMC Sierra 1500. I think that may be a little high too, but I didn't ask what all they do on an oil change.

The manager, Brad, called, explained the situation, and offered a service voucher to help make things right. He was professional and respectful on the call, and I appreciate that they addressed my concerns quickly. While the price difference wasn't completely refunded, I'm satisfied with the response and their effort to resolve the issue. Overcharged and pressured for repairs I never requested I went to Mavis Tires & Brakes in Daphne, AL for a basic tire and oil service after being quoted $321 "out the door." When I picked up my vehicle, the bill was over $100 higher than the quote. Staff blamed a "call center mistake" but refused to honor the original price. They also printed a repair estimate for nearly $5,000 worth of additional work that I never asked for, claiming someone had "verbally authorized" it -- which was completely untrue. On top of that, parts of the job were incomplete when I got the vehicle back. They didn't put spare tire back under my vehicle like I asked and no oil change sticker was applied or updated. I've contacted Mavis corporate about the overcharge and false authorization, and I've filed a complaint with the Alabama Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division. Be careful here !! You might be paying for more than you get!!!
