So, like Holy Buckets, I've been disappointed with the Lombard locations. Al Manakeesh Lombard is better than the Holy Buckets Lombard. They have a lot of seating, I would say it is on par with Bridgeview's. I've never been to the Orland Park location. Staff was friendly but I wished they would call out your name when your drinks are ready. We ordered sfeha with eggs, zaatar/akkawi cheese/cherry tomato, strawberry matcha, and guava mojito. The sfeha with eggs tasted just fine. The zaatar/akkawi cheese/cherry tomato looked a lot different than Bridgeview's and they put too much zaatar. It was too salty and herby for my taste. Bridgeview's was perfect. The drinks were fine. This is a 3.5 out of 5 due to the subpar pizza quality. I guess Bridgeview will be my go to from now on unless I try Orland Park's.

Don't miss this little boba and snack shop tucked town an alley in downtown Wheaton…read more We went to try the Japanese cheesecake and Basque cheesecake; the Japanese cheesecake was already sold out for the day, but we got the Basque as well as a mochi cat paw waffle (like a taiyaki, but shaped like a cat paw rather than a fish). The cheesecake was delicious: dense and not overly sweet. The waffle was also good, just slightly chewy with a green pandan custard filling. The staff were very friendly and told us all about the different drinks on the menu, but we just went with water because I had already had my allotment of caffeine for the day. Cute decor including paintings from local artists for purchase and giant bubble teas! It was a bit warm inside but there's also outdoor seating if you would prefer that. We will definitely return to try the Japanese cheesecake!

Sadly, the teas were not satisfactory. I ordered the original milk tea - I always order this at…read moreboba places I haven't been to before as the barometer of quality. There wasn't very good tea flavor. It almost tasted like a powdered milk tea mix. I was also excited that they sold items from Kokoroya Bakery. This bakery had been on my list to try. I was there on the 25th and one of the items I got (matcha red bean bun) had a best by date of the 23rd. I guess I wouldn't expect a past best by item to be sold. It definitely tasted stale, along with the cookies I got.

It wasn't too busy when I walked in, but was definitely greeted! The drive thru seemed consistent for a Sunday evening. The staff were friendly and also gave a good recommendation! My go to order is always the angel food slim. Love it! I was looking at green smoothies for my friend because it was what she wanted but couldn't decide between 2 different ones. I was recommended to get the collagen power pineapple kale (one I was looking and leaning towards) and my friend loved it!!

I ordered a Goji Goji bowl, remove the blueberries, add extra goji berries, extra bananas and extra granola. When we arrived at the window, the young lady told us the amount and as I was grabbing my card she closed the window. It's cold outside, I understand, but unfortunately this adds to my negative experience. Then, the manager, an older lady, handed over my açaí bowl and closed the window. When I looked at the bowl, I only saw 4 slices of banana and a handful of the Gogi berries. I reached out to the window to inquire. When I stated, "Hi, I asked for extra Gogi berries" the manager states, "You have extra gogi berries ma'am, they are in the middle." I then said "I also asked for extra bananas." The manager then states, "those are extra bananas ma'am. You're looking right at them" I inquired again, "6 slices is extra?" The managers tone has now changed to one of annoyance and sarcasm when she says, "Would you like extra bananas ma'am?" I said "yes." When she arrives back to the window with my order, she proceeds to tell me that I substituted the blueberries for bananas. I let her know that I didn't ask for a substitution at all. The sarcasm, rashness and loose audacity leaves me appalled at the age of the woman and lack of grace she had in handling the situation. Instead of taking responsibility or using emotional intelligence, she felt the need to correct me with an attitude. This is not the reputation of the Smoothie King I know.
