Stopped here for a quick lunch when I was in the area. Had a hankering for barbecue so I found this…read moreplace on Yelp. What a great, casual place for good food. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a gentleman behind the counter. He was friendly and very helpful as I was obviously there for the first time. The place has got an Old West theme; probably left over from the 70s or 80s, but that's why I love it more. Plenty of seating inside but I opted to sit outside on the picnic tables out front. I had the brisket sandwich with coleslaw, beans, and a side of fries. There was a fair amount of brisket on the sandwich itself. So much so I was surprised it was very tasty and pretty moist. Could have been a wee bit moister. I wasn't as crazy about the beans but I think that's a matter of taste. Something in the seasoning. That being said, the fries were amazing! I'm not usually really concerned about french fries but every single one of these were crispy and had the perfect amount of salt. I also very much liked the creamy coleslaw. I look forward to coming back and trying the ribs and maybe some Greek specialties.

I've had their BBQ ribs and other items in the past, but decided to try their Beef Brisket Sandwich. The sandwich had a fair amount of brisket, and I especially liked how they lightly toasted the roll, similar to an Italian beef roll, nice and chewy. It's counter service, and when your order is ready, they announce your number on your receipt. Gemato's is a good place for families or large parties with plenty of seating.

We dined on a Sunday night around 8 PM and were seated right away, which was a great start. We…read moreordered the mixed grill plate, a Nutella shake, and I asked for water. The salad and hummus came out within a few minutes and the food itself was actually very good. No water given at this time. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. We waited almost an hour for our main entrée, had to ask for the water again, and the Nutella shake we ordered was never served at all. Our server was not attentive throughout the night. One more thing to watch out for -- a 15% tip was automatically added to the bill, so make sure to check before paying. The food was enjoyable, but the poor service really affected the overall experience.

Pot of Arabian coffee was fresh. The meat in the mixed grill was alright. The waitress was ditzy and not too attentive. When the waitress wasn't anywhere to be found I asked the bus boy for two to go boxes, he gave me a mean look and didn't speak. The waitress didn't serve water for my guest and I. Also she didn't ask if we wanted any dessert. I found better restaurants with much better service in the area that's where I will dine at in the future. Also the waitress didn't offer my guest and I any water or asked us if we'd like any dessert.

Spot on service and very polite, friendly and fast! The decor is tranquil like your sitting outside at a table enjoying a meal home cooked by YiaYia! The kids menu was perfect even though we didn't order from it. We were there for lunch and the appetizers are enough for two people. The olive oil is so fragrant, the bread is fresh baked and amazing. I wish I would've tried the stuffed pepper soup, but Avgolemono is my favorite. I just wish they had a generous bowl of Youvetzi that was flavored with lamb shank!!! It's my go to Greek comfort food - My YiaYia's was the best! I will have to return to sample their desserts! I hope my favorite is on the menu... Galaktoboureko!

The floor was very slippery around our table and for someone unsure of their step, this made me very nervous. Started with saganaki and lemon soup. My husband thought they were both delicious, unfortunately I thought the cheese was lacking and the soup was not think enough. There were huge pieces of chicken in it though. I had the special - Youvarelakia - which are the herbed meatballs in lemon sauce. The meat was "very herb-y" to the point of almost overwhelming the meat taste. Once again, the sauce was too think for my liking. Husband had the Youvetsi and thought it was delicious. We both brought leftovers home
