My s.o. and I wanted to come here on a Saturday evening for the live music but we ended up going here for the food.
We had an early dinner and dined inside across from the kitchen window-bar and right by the windows. The decor was minimal and the attention was on the customer and the food.
We ordered the fettuccine primavera with grilled chicken and it was chef's kiss! The only thing I'd recommend is that one mixes it just before taking a bite if you want the garlic sauce to be a part of it.
We shared our order and were informed by our waitress (phenomenal by the way) that there's typically an $8.00 share charge but if you order more food then it goes away. Splitting the main course was a smart idea as it was perfectly portioned for two!
The chicken was real chicken. Not pre-fab chicken. The veggies were fresh and al dente like the pasta too! Pasta is made in house as well (if I remember correctly).
We ended up trying some desserts. David got a peanutty butter treat and I tried their housemade tiramisu and cappuccino. As we were waiting for dessert, the band arrived and started setting up. We were glad we didn't pick a table outside because it would have been too loud!
The tiramisu was very filling and I only ate about half. The cappuccino was too good to leave behind so we stayed and enjoyed each other's company a little while longer.
The bathroom wasn't as nice as the corridor where we sat to eat but it was relatively clean and ADA accessible.
We'll have to go back sometime for the music (found out it's on Tues and Sat nights between 7pm-10pm) and for the good food!
Happy eats! read more
