I walked in knowing one thing: I was getting my BOGO cake, and nothing was going to stop me. Not traffic, not temptation, not even my kid asking "Do we really need more cake?" (Yes. Always yes.) I grabbed a slice of Mocha cake and a slice of Ganache. Meanwhile, my kiddo innocently picks an iced coffee, which triggers my inner rewards-program gremlin. Suddenly I'm cashing in my rewards like I'm on a pastry-themed game show and--boom--free chocolate almond croissant. Flaky. Chocolatey. Almondy. Honestly, it was giving "main character energy." The staff? Friendly. The store? Clean. The treats? So heavenly I'm pretty sure angels were harmonizing somewhere above the pastry case. And listen--calories at Paris Baguette don't count.
