The crew came out when they scheduled/promised and knocked the deck out of the park. The detail we wanted was done above and beyond. They added a few minor details when items were found and needed altered. The crew cleaned up the workspace very well and made due the area was safe Do not hesitate to use these guys to hire for a deck. They failed in nearly every aspect of this project. What was to be a 5-week job, extended out to 12-weeks when they were fired with a good amount of work not completed, materials paid for not supplied, AND the work that was completed was not that of a professional contractor. They did not have inspections done (even though we were charged for permits). Poor design, poor execution, poor business practices. We are left with hiring someone reputable to almost completely redo the work. There are MULTIPLE FIRE HAZARDS and code violations. I wish I could list it all. We obviously failed to speak up in time to make a difference. We will be pursuing legal action soon against them. We thought we did ample due diligence prior to hiring them. We made a huge mistake. I'd be willing to bet many of their glowing reviews have been paid for. These are not craftsmen, they are hacks. If you do choose to use them, hold back as much money as you can and don't let them 'Take it off the LAST payment'. We were lied to on multiple occasions. On their website they use the tag line, "We build dreams", for us they built an expensive nightmare.

This caused a carbon monoxide leak in our house for over a month before it was detected by HVAC professionals. Rather than work with us on resolving the issue, they immediately told us they could not fix the problem, could not help put money towards a solution, and were unwilling to compromise in writing with aid towards fixing the problem. The mistake cost us as homeowners close to $10,000 and they are claiming they are not responsible for the damage they did during construction.

Mike was able to understand what I was communicating and bring it to life. John Linder was assigned to do the work. He has a meticulous attention to detail and takes great care in his craftsmanship. They put in a new 1/2 bath with a macerating toilet (an innovative solution in my situation!) replaced drywall in other areas and patched them seamlessly. Then they painted everything and gave me a good recommendation for flooring. Dan's quote came in at less than 1/2 of another bid I got for the job and he was very proactive in informing me of any unexpected cost increases.
