Teriyaki Beef
Becca H.

Good but not great. We've been meaning to check this out for awhile because we've seen a lot of positive recommendations for it & we live nearby. Finally came in on a Saturday evening & were seated right away, it was semi busy but not had some open tables. Started with some soda, unfortunately Pepsi products here. Got the spring rolls. They were flavorful but we wished there were more for the price. One each just isn't a great portion. For entrees I had the teriyaki beef. I wasn't expecting it to come out sizzling but was pleasantly surprised by that. It was obviously fresh and delicious with green beans (they could've used a little more seasoning). My husband got the Mongolian beef and he didn't enjoy his quite as much. He said not enough meat with his vegetables. We will likely try this again as there were other things on the menu we wanted to try. Will update whenever we do that!

A great local restaurant. Nice feel as soon as you walk in. Friendly and prompt service. Small but roomy so you don't feel shoved up to the next person. Don't feel like You're are almost eating off the neighbors plate. We ordered the yakitori appetizer, the teriyaki salmon and the sushi. All were great and very enjoyable. Was a bit pricey at $86 as we could only order from the dinner menu on Sunday's. We'll go back and grab something from the lunch menu as the prices are a little less steep during the week. Overall a very good lunch. We'll be back.

I have to say never in my life would I have tried a peach sushi roll. However it was absolutely delicious. I was so surprised how well the flavors went together. Definitely recommend coming here for this roll alone. Personally I wish they had more raw options but this roll made me very happy. We also ordered the roti but it seemed very greasy. I am used to the curry sauce being thicker in texture at other locations so it threw me off how liquid it was. the softshell crab was a little too over fried for my liking in the spider roll. The service was quick and friendly. He answered all of our questions and we were seated almost immediately. It was around 6pm when we went there on a Friday evening. It's a cute little restaurant but seems a little dated inside. Overall I'd say come to try the peach roll but that's about it.

This place is always spot on! I've never had a bad meal here. I'm vegetarian but my family eats everything so there is something for us all! There are 6 different vegetarian dishes and 3 vegetarian sushi rolls. The tofu is AMAZING!! The meal hit the spot. Can't wait to go back.

Restaurant is cozy and we were excited to visit during happy hour. I was glad there were no crowds. Service was excellent and food was outstanding. Can't wait to return!

Akina fried rice (without the tomato sauce)

Our server was amazing and super sweet. She made sure we were taking care of. Unfortunately the restaurant itself seemed to be overwhelmed with the busyness. If you do like average Asian food, this is good. Everything is very saucy. I ordered some sushi with eel, because eel is my favorite. There was barely any eel in it and the piece I could find was dried out. The only flavor I could taste was the cream cheese. My daughter LOVED their fried rice (which we ordered without the tomato sauce....). It's a smaller restaurant, and seems to be busy, which is good.

Stop by on a Saturday night and this place was packed. I was in the area and we decided to dine here. Our server was nice, but the kitchen was defiantly backed up. We were on a time crunch as well. Sushi was a bit overly packed with rice and the calamari did not look crispy brown at all. Food was mediocre and not much flavor. some of our food we order came out, but told the waiter to pack it to go. Unfortunately the plate looks like it had more food on it then in our to go container.

We were in Orlando for vacation and have friends that live there. They recommended this restaurant because they visit it often and love it. Now I know why they love it. The restaurant is a part of a shopping strip mall, but it is highly prominent so you can't miss it. The indoors is warm, clean, and welcoming. We were seated right away. The service was great. She kept the drink refills coming. Now, let's get to the REALLY good stuff...the food! If you're used to going to one of those "...Express" chains for your Asian food, you will be blown away at Akina. The food here is authentic, the portions are great, and the food tastes delicious. I love going to an Asian restaurant and the food isn't dripping in grease or overly saturated with sauce (like some are). Make sure to check out the captions of the photos I posted here so you can see for yourself how delicious the food comes through even in the photos!

Pad Thai Vegetable , Avocado & Peach Roll

BEST SUSHI SPOT IN TOWN! I just moved here from California and my goodness it is rough to find some quality , non franchised food around here, especially as a VEGAN!! However, after discovering Akina, I have hope! The Vegan Avocado & Peach sushi roll is fantastic and something I have never had before! The Veggie Pad Thai is really good, although I feel like there could be more noodles, and the Jasmine Tea is great! I always have an incredible server, white guy with Jamaican vibe lol! My only con is the napkins and silverware are out of date , and should be changed ASAP! Overall, I love this place and I'll be there later!

Very, very happy I don't need to go to to Winter Park or Orlando for a great sushi joint! The food…read moreis exquisite, fresh and top quality! I really wasn't expecting the food to be top notch and delicious! The price is moderately high but it is worth it for the delicious food and quality. This hole in the wall is where "don't judge a book by its cover" comes to place. With that being said, the environment inside and decor is VERY laid back, which was a turn off. The staff and waiter just talking across to each other on the dining area. It was like being at Taco Bell or McDonald's with the staff talking and screaming. Rather than enjoying and talking to my spouse, I was more involved in their conversation about what they bought on Amazon and what happened the other day. The food and price just didn't equal to the dining experience. I did have to flag down a couple of times for water refill and the dining room was not filled. Would I come back? Oh yeah! The sushi and the appetizers is so worth it!

The shrimp tempura in our sushi roll still had the vein in it. However, the dinner portion of the bento is massive. It also includes a side of rice and soup and salad. My steak bento was awesome. Had we known the portions of the sushi with the bento, we would have only ordered the bento. The service was attentive and friendly as well. I think we would return for the bentos.

Unfortunately, this place has severely gone downhill. It used to be one of our go-to spots in…read moredowntown Clermont but has become a spot we avoid. They have a fantastic variety of beers and other drinks (like sangria and margaritas) on tap. If you're seeking a drink only, it's great for a quick drink and listen to live music. However, our visit today was disappointing. There were many bored looking individuals hanging around everywhere chatting with each other, and it was distracting overall for us and our server. The food? Subpar at best. They used to have delicious sushi options, now gone. The nachos quality was so bad that we ordered, picked at it and then finished our drinks and ran off. I could literally taste the stale corn chips, grocery brand salsa and queso. If you can't make it better than I can in my home kitchen, I'll opt to just stay home or go somewhere else. I am sorry to post this because Clermont Brewery was a favorite for us as locals. However, the new ownership seemingly has driven what was unique and delicious from this restaurant. We won't be back anytime soon.

I got invited by a friend to go to Tuesday night bingo. I'd never been to this restaurant but I'm…read moredown for bingo whenever lol When I got there it was packed! Luckily I ended up getting a parking spot kind of at the front, in the dirt parking lot across the street. My friend's uncle had saved us a table so that wasn't a problem but inside was packed as well. I really enjoyed their version of bingo. It is cash only so make sure you're prepared. But they start off with normal 5 across and then play different designs on the square. You also play for money every time so depending on how many people pay in... for one $2 game the pot was around $800 and for the fill the square, last game which is $5 buy ins, it was over $1800!!! The food was also good. I started with a strawberry basil mojito. It's served in a regular glass which I felt was worth it bc usually those are served in those small cups. For dinner I ordered the chicken quesadilla, 1000/10 recommend. It looks small but they stuffed that baby with chicken. The flavor was great and it came with salsa, sour cream and guac. I did end up trying my friend's truffle fries and they were also so so good, I wish I ordered an order of those for myself. Unfortunately this place is a little for from me but if I get invited to bingo again I'm saying yes!!! So much fun

Once you…read moreexperience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. This location is across from the Citrus Tower. It is clean and located in a shopping plaza, so parking is not an issue. It has a good vibe and I enjoyed my time shopping here. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals, and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location for that matter and I give it five stars.
