I walked in at 330 and walked out a little past 4 with a fresh blow out. The woman who did my hair was pleasant. I didn't want anything involved, and my blowout was no frills. She gave me nice volume with the velcro rollers. For $55, it's definitely worth stopping here for a blowout.

Since we…read morehad been walking for what felt like an eternity at New York during our first day I thought a massage seemed like a great idea. I booked the couples retreat the morning of and I couldn't get an appointment until 1 pm. Guess it wasn't too bad but was super excited to get pampered. We arrived a little before 1 and right away we were escorted downstairs into the spa section. For a Wednesday it was pretty dead and the only people that were there was just me and the bf. The couples package came with * 1 hour massage * 30 minutes private soaks with milk & honey scrub * 30 minutes in couples suite which includes jacuzzi tub & sauna Since it was my boyfriends birthday I requested rose petals like I had seen in the Yelp picture. I was a bit disappointed to see that it looked nothing like the picture and it was fake rose petals which I thought was weird. I'll give them an A for effort though although it looked nothing like the picture. The massage was amazing. She did a really great job. Most of my massages are pretty rough but she did a great job with light to medium pressure. I really liked the glass of champagne and the chocolate truffles. The private soak was nice but I really enjoyed the sauna. It was definitely a great experience. Came out feeling revitalized. My boyfriend really enjoyed the massage and the amenities.

This salon used to be so much better when Marianna was the owner. Once Marianna left everything…read morechanged for the worst. I have been coming to this salon for years and never had any issues until recently. I felt so disrespected that I won't ever be coming back to this salon. I had an appointment and received a call the same day saying that the nail techs machine stopped working so she couldn't see me because she had to go home to get a new machine, which was all a lie. So then, I rescheduled my appointment for the following day. I received a call the same day (again) by the owner saying that the girls in the salon refuse to do my nails and won't see me for my appointment. That's when I realized that the prior day they called lying about the nail techs machine not working. When I asked why they won't see me there was no real reason given to me besides that they don't feel comfortable and they can't be forced to do it. I feel like they can't take constructive criticism and get upset and irritated when u tell then how u want ur nails. I feel like if I'm paying so much money at this salon I shouldn't have to just settle for an ok job on my nails, for that I can just go to the Asian salons. I'm very particular with how I like my nails which I'm sure a lot of other females are as well so I don't see why I have to just sit there and not say anything when one nail is shorter than the other. Or if they missed a spot with the nail polish. I feel like I shouldn't have been turned away just because I make a comment here or there if something is off. Anyway, very disappointed with this salon and how they run their business. Instead of calling me to tell me the nail tech refused to see me they should work on bettering their techs and the work they do. Response to business managers comment: I'm never "rude" to any of the techs and don't bad mouth anyone. Like I said before it's not my fault that I can't just sit there and stay shut when it's clear as day that the some of the nails are off in shape and size from the others. I find it veryyy funny how ur saying I complained just to get discounts, are u out of ur mind? The only time I asked to get my price adjusted for my nails was when ur "experienced top tech" Katya couldn't do a simple design that I wanted so she offered to do chrome so I just settled for that. Not only could she not do the design but she didn't even file my nails into a good coffin shape. I had to sit there and file my nails myself which you even saw me doing. I'm not broke I don't need ur discounts. But for you to even take the time to write back trying to be even more disrespectful just goes to show how unprofessional you guys are. Im not going to sit here and go back and forth with you because your techs need more work on their "artistic skills". You should keep that same energy trying to better your techs and not faulting the customer for knowing what good work is supposed to look like. As u are well aware a few of ur best techs have left you and are now doing their own thing, so it's not my fault that now your "new top techs" can't live up to those standards. I'm not trying to just settle for some b.s when I'm paying $50 for a gel manicure.

She wanted to charge me additional for thickness and length. While other Groupon services have that disclaimer her's didn't so I refused to pay additional. She also wants to use bleach versus other organic treatments. What made things even worse she wanted me to return my Groupon and pay her directly so she doesn't have to pay the Groupon fee. She is only using Groupon to increase her customer base. Her behavior is unethical and based on other Groupon reviews I see that she over charges for hair treatment that is part of the Groupon you pay for. I do not recommend Timeless Beauty NY unless your I the mood to get ripped off.

Had extensions done with a girl who talked about how great she was at extensions and charged me a ridiculous price for ones that ending up lasting months shorter than she claimed they would. So I went searching for someone to fix my hair, and came across Melissa. She took her time, was always available for any questions or suggestions, worked around my crazy schedule. Even at consultation, I didn't feel any sales pressure, and every time we've discussed my hair she's really listened to what I wanted. I've been going to her for a few months and will continue to do so :) Highly recommended!

If you were confused why didn't you reach out? I'm trying to support BOBs in my neighborhood but consistently customer service tends to be an issue. The confirmation however was there so idk what that was about.

However, I was…read moreinformed that I couldn't just remove the gel--I had to get a manicure as well, bringing the total to $35. I found this extremely odd since all I wanted was the gel removal. By the time the service was finished, I was charged $59.44. The technician told me it was $15 plus $35, but I saw the charges listed separately. If these were truly separate charges, why wasn't I allowed to just pay $15 for the gel removal alone? I even mentioned that I never get my nails done, and she took advantage of that to overcharged me. This felt like a scam. All I have in my nails is a clear coat. I knew I was getting scammed and told her to just add the clear coat. Again, from the start making me get a manicure saying I couldn't just remove the gel. I wound have been fine paying the 15 to remove which is what I wanted. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Also, I have not received an email receipt. Please send it to me immediately.
