They do a great job. On any lawnmower. I took my lawnmower there and a friends rider and when he got it back it ran like new.

These folks take forever to get to a repair ,6-7 weeks to start to even look at the repair. The front desk females are rude at times and lack common sense. My repair finally was diagnosed and they found the engine not repairable. I had the option of a rebuilt $400 engine or scrap the water pump and engine or pay $40 dollars. I WILL NEVER BE BACK THEY HAVE LOST THIS CUSTOMER. And this is not the first time over the last 2 years this has happened. No one seems to know what is going on...VERY DISORGANIZED. read more

I'd give this "business" 0 stars, if it was possible. I seen on social media that they were hiring, so I decided to stop by and fill out an application. The two "ladies", if you can call them that, that were working the front desk, were a bit rude with the customers they were talking to, even though, they did nothing wrong. I patiently waited for 10-15 minute, without either of them acknowledging me. Clearly, their "customer service skills" are severely lacking, since they didn't "see" or "acknowledge" me. Now I can see why out of 9 reviews, at least half aren't that great. No surprise that they can't hold onto their employees, only paying $10/hr & no benefits. I wouldn't want to work there, let alone, trust them to "fix" any of my equipment. read more

Trash...if I could leave negative stars would do so. Poor customer service, rediculous prices for simple repairs, lengthy waits with no call backs?? If that doesnt get your attention then how about rules in place such as "mechanic is NOT REQUIRED to reassemble your machine after diagnostic,,,(that they wont tell you about until you go to pick up your product) basically saying if you call us out on our ridiculous quotes we wont reassemble your machine, so "come pay us for ripping apart your stuff and we will give you the pieces back,.....pfffffttttttttt, no thanks. I would not recommend this place to anyone that wants a productive, prompt or even a courteous, friendly experience. I hate doing reviews period and, I did this one just to possibly save one more person from having as nasty and a ridiculous experience as I did. My neighbor had warned me about AJ's Repair Service a few months prior but I had forgotten the name of the service he used so unknowingly we used them to "repair" our power washer and after three weeks of waiting I called and asked about it and was told they had not gotten to it yet. I waited a couple of more days went to check on it and they still had not looked at it yet and when they finally did I was told nothing could be done to fix it. So when I went to go get the unfixable power washer I was charged $21 for unfixable fees I guess. I just paid it and got the heck out of there. I will NEVER use them again and I highly discourage anyone who has just a little bit of intolerance for procrastination to not use these people. I am a very dissatisfied customer. read more

Called in regards to a warranty on today and the young lady who first answered the phone had a bad attitude, and I understand why because she put an older sounding lady on the phone and her attitude was even worse. It's sad to see's business is act like this In these times . After the older lady realize that I did not have a receipt for my purchase even after I told her I spoke with the warranty department for my equipment. She did everything but accuse me of stealing it sadly after explaining to her that not everyone is a thief and not everyone breaks the law she hung up in my face. Worst business I've ever been to in my life. My husband and I have done business with these people for about 20 years. They were great until the owner passed a couple of years ago. My husband took his riding lawnmower into their shop on 27 March 2023. He stopped in a couple of weeks later to inquire about the status. He was told that they had just pulled it into the shop. On 24 April 23, my husband and I took in a string trimmer for service and to check on the status of our mower. The girl at the desk told us that that seemed a bit too long for our mower and would call us that day with an update. We did not get a call so my husband tried calling the business and got no answer and the voicemail mailbox was full. We went into the business the next day to inquire about our mower. A young lady was trying to help us but an older lady started screaming at us. She said that my husband was calling everyday and was being demanding. She screamed for us to leave her business and to take our equipment with us. She then told her employees to take our mower and put it in the street. My husband (75yo) was so upset because we didn't have a trailer to pick up our mower and didn't want it in the street. I thought he was going to have a stroke. He spent over 25 years serving his country and is not in the best of health. We quickly left to pick up a trailer to retrieve our mower. I was so worried about my husband's health, at this point. We finally got back and got his mower. Please, please never do business with these people. They are horrible. read more

A buddy of mine referred me to AJ's and so I drove from Temple to Copperas Cove to get done on my lawn mower and trimmer. It was a long drive, but well worth it! They repaired my mower, and trimmer in under two weeks and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I trust their work and my mower and trimmer have never run better. Brought in the lawn tractor for new blade quoted 35 bucks. 2 weeks later they demanded over 350 bucks (the mower brand new was 995) They did all kinds of unauthorized work. AJ's told us they repaired our weed eater for over $100 by completely replacing the carburetor. Amazingly enough the weed eater still has the factory carburetor in it. They LIED to us and STOLE our money. This is unacceptable. Do NOT do business with them. read more

At first I was glad there was a local lawnmower repair and took my lawnmower to them with explucit instructions for them to call me before ANY non warranty work, I waited a week after hearing nothing and was told to call back in a few more days, reminded them again about a call before any work. Got a call at the end of the second week saying the work was done and I owed 50 plus dollars, when I asked why I wasn't called before no reason was given by the owner. I explained that because of their error I should only be liable for half the cost, tbe tech that worked on it had been told in person to not work on it if it wasn't warrantied, he admitted in front of me and the owner that it was his fault but the owner made excuses, taking only 6 dollars off for oil removal fees... not only did it take 2 weeks to empty the gas tank and flush it and sharpen the blades but then I have to pay for work I could have had my son do easily, for free... do not go to these shysters, BAD customer service and shady dealings read more
