    Sushi 10PC & Maki
    Lana S.

My first thought was ヤバ. This might be the best sushi I had in the US. Usually sushi costs around $30-50 and I suck it up but this is worth more than the price. First, sushi rice is not white. That means it's usually fancy. I thought pickles and maki is just a space filler but no. I loved every thing about this box. Beautiful presentation and my hotel (where I ate) felt like Michelin restaurant. It's so good I enjoyed the food/art slowly. Everything was so perfect. If you are visitor of SF, there is no seating there. The store told me I had to wait at least 30 minutes to eat the sushi because it's too cold. This gives you time to get back to hotel or find a place to enjoy. It was pretty filling.

4.5 stars/5--I felt like they gave me too much rice with my hand roll box ($30.) It's an elevated takeout sushi spot (no seating, minimal decor). I like that they're investing in downtown SF (they moved from the Fillmore district near JTown.) Their boxes are very aesthetic. Prices are fairly steep, but fish is good quality and they give a good portion of fish (albeit I felt like too much rice to fill up the box.) They sell out, so get there early or be prepared to leave empty-handed. Will be back.

Tiny little grab-and-go sushi joint with a small variety of cute little boxes. Go early, because they tend to sell out. High quality, but also a tad pricey. 6 piece Sushi & Maki: $30.41 for a not-huge sushi lunch is a bit steep. But at the rate that slop bowl prices are growing, perhaps paying a little more for a much higher quality lunch is better. Each piece was crisp and fresh, not old "fishy" taste. Some of the pieces tasted a little smoky, like the tuna, which added a nice surprise flavor. The maki were rolled super tight, with really dense rich. I especially liked the unagi maki. Bara Chirashi: A few cents shy of $40, this is quite an expensive grab-and-go office lunch! It is impressive to look at the plethora of colorful fish bits entirely covering a layer of seasoned rice. I tried to eat the little fish pieces individually, so it didn't all meld together. But it was hard to truly savor the fish when the piece was really small, unlike sushi where you get a lot of it in your mouth at once. While this looked cool, I think I prefer the Sushi + Maki combo more.

Delicious. 5/5 stars for a takeout sushi box. The inside is very sleek with just the cold case of sushi and a register. I went right at 11am when they opened, and there were already a few people inside ordering. I got a $23 mixed box of roll pieces and nigiri. It was plenty of food for the price I thought. It was so good and tasted fresh! I took it to the nearby park to eat it.

YUMMM another take out sushi spot in fidi? Super happy Aji Kiji moved to Kearny - Fillmore was WAY too far! I did take out from their fillmore location about a year ago and had a great experience with ordering ahead. This time i walked into the store at around 12:20pm on a Thursday and there was only a line of 2 people. By the time i paid there was a line out the door! So definitely come early or order ahead! Note: when i got there they were not sold out of anything - but i saw other reviews saying they sell out fast. Decor was super basic (in a nice way) and there is no seating.. definitely a take out kind of place! Taste and quality wise i really enjoyed the sake don! The fish was fresh and the little sides were a perfect compliment to the entree. I love salmon and thought it was a decent amount for the price. Total was $30 ($28 + tax/tip)... overall pretty standard for SF. Although my wallet hurts my belly is very happy! :) They did have more expensive options.... maybe one day ill splurge but ill leave those for the tech bros for now!

Really nicely packaged take out omakase and chirashi! Beautifully presented and very fresh and yummy.

If you've seen this hype place on the internet but don't know how to get this, here's what I recommend: - preorder on their website for pickup (orders open about a week out, but we had no issue ordering 2 days in advance) - there's no line at the shop if you go at open, and then you're just in n out to grab your preorder - super easy sitch for a weekday, not sure about the weekends, but the entire process took less than 15m Price was reasonable: - 6 piece nigiri $28 - salmon don $28 - hand roll box $30 (this was our fave) Def recommend for high quality takeout sushi!

Same quality new location! When cortisol levels were high from work chaos, Aji Kiji was there for us to save the day. So glad it's still accessible right in the heart of fi di. Order ahead to be safe and ensure you have access to to the full selection. I got a tuna and salmon box since I had done an 6 mile run in the morning (don't judge) both were so fresh and had lean/fatty cuts. The cute little fish soy sauce gets me every time. Keep taking my money Aji Kiji

I believe the omakase box is supposed to mimic a real Omakase course which can be eaten at your own convenience. The nigiri pieces were excellent; I really enjoyed both of the salmon and sea bream pieces as well as the scallop. The rolls were ok, I only really enjoyed the eel roll. For $60 (after tax), this is on the more affordable side for higher quality sushi in SF. Another nice plus is (I'm pretty sure) the wasabi is real, so I could actually enjoy it without it being extremely spicy. The staff just hand you a box and the entire store is take out only. I would recommend ordering a box the day before so you don't have to wait in line and can ensure you get whatever box you want. All of boxes are usually fully sold out by 1pm (opens at 11am). 4.8/5

Aji Kiji is truly amazing! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh, every bite was a delight. The service was impeccable, very friendly and attentive. I got there around 11:30 am and they already have a few options sold out. Their order ahead ends at 930 am for the day of pick up. I can't wait to get this for lunch again.

this salmon was so super fresh! very good fish quality even in the bay. i was not a big fan of their rice texture though, and the boxes can feel a bit pricey. the line gets long but it moves fast, they sold out before 2pm on a saturday so i recommend going early. it's take out only so no seats inside, just grab and go ambiance. we found a nice spot outdoors nearby to eat it on filmore.

So delicious that I could CRY! There are no words for this; everyone has to try it. Obviously, the sushi was all amazing. Melt-in-your-mouth, harmonious, chef's kiss. However, I found the pickled radish and cucumber to go beautifully with the fish! I would literally buy a tub of those pickles if I could, and I'm not usually a big fan of pickles. My boyfriend reserved two boxes for Valentine's Day. When we got there, the line went down the block. Make sure to pre-order, especially on holidays!

    Jennifer Y.

High quality sushi takeout place in SF! Heard that there could be a line on weekends and so I preordered the night before for pickup just in case. I arrived at 11:30am on a Saturday and the store was empty so I got my order in no time. The interior looked similar to the old Fillmore location - minimal with no seating. The sushi looked as good and tasted as delicious as I remembered. They weren't cheap but they were fresh and yummy. I do think it's worth a splurge once in a while :)

They had a sign advertising a special where you can order two items from a list and it comes with soup, salad, and rice, but we ended up just splitting two house special rolls - the Salmon Mango roll and Rock N Roll roll (tuna, avocado, spicy mayo). Both were delicious. I particularly liked the Salmon Mango roll - it was a perfect mix of sweet and savory. The rolls came with 8 pieces each and each piece was a good size, so it was plenty for two of us. I also got a Sapporo beer (bottle) to sip on. Overall, good experience - quick, efficient service and satisfying meal.

From the moment we sat down, the sushi train immediately caught everyone's attention. Once we submit our order in the iPad, the bullet style train brought the food to our table. It added a fun, modern touch and definitely made the experience memorable. It's not every day your food is delivered by a robot and train. It brought a lot of smiles and conversation to the table. On top of the entertainment, the food itself was fresh and delicious. There was a great variety of sushi to choose from, and everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. I think the combination of good food, unique service, and a lively atmosphere made this a standout dining experience.
