That was two $20 bills, one $10 bill, plus $3.30 in change, for a total of $53.30 to be used for gas. After that, I left the store. While I was cleaning dust off my windshield, the pump stopped. When I checked the pump, it showed only $43.30. I went back inside and spoke to the older Indian woman at the register. She insisted that I had only given her $43.30. What shocked me even more was that she said once I left the store, it was no longer her responsibility. I was very upset and argued with her. I asked her to review the security camera footage because I could clearly see there was a camera pointed at the register. However, she refused, saying she was not the owner, and told me to come back tomorrow. I live in Sacramento. Am I really supposed to drive all the way to Folsom over $10? I want to remind everyone who pays cash at this gas station: always get a receipt before leaving the store. I have experienced a similar situation before, but the Indian woman working at that time was very friendly and refunded the money without even checking the cameras. Perhaps she knew what had happened. Ten dollars is not a large amount of money, but this is a matter of honesty and character. Anyways this gas station is about three years old and still has that clean sparkly look (inside and outside). It's on the corner of Green Valley Road and Sophia Parkway in El Dorado Hills. The staff is awesome. I like to frequent this place to after taking in the Folsom Lake trails, which are accessible via the parking lot across the street. Besides the gas, they sell snacks, candy, beef jerky, cold case drinks, Freeze ( icees), smokes, tobacco, lotto tickets and scratchers...the typical convenience store knick knacks. Another awesome thing about this place is that they have a car wash. The wash is similar to the "Yellow Duck" franchise. The wash uses a track that grabs your left tires to move it along. There is an attendant to guide you onto the track, tell you to put your car in neutral and no brakes, and spray your cars bumpers. They offer single priced washes and memberships. The vacuums are free of use.

I've come during both the day and night, and I always feel safe here--way more than at some of the other nearby gas stations. The whole area is well-lit, which is a big plus, and it really feels like the operators/owners care about the people who come here. It shows that they're invested in the community and its safety--and that says a lot. There's also a shopping plaza right next door with a DMV, which was a nice surprise. You can schedule an appointment, and the wait times seem way shorter than at the bigger DMV locations. Even if you're waiting to be called, you can walk over here, grab a snack, pump some gas, maybe get a coffee, and then head back in time. Super convenient! Inside, everything is super organized and clean. Restrooms? Clean. Staff? Really friendly and helpful. I found what I needed and was in and out fast. If you call the station itself someone is always there to pick up the phone and answer your questions. Gas prices are usually lower than other spots around here, and it's easy to get in and out of the lot. The pumps, keypads, handles--everything is spotless.
