Very Disappointed with the Service at FYI Doctors - Airdrie…read more I visited FYI Doctors in Airdrie on June 26, 2026 for an eye examination and to purchase prescription glasses. I collected my glasses on July 4, 2026. Although the glasses needed a minor adjustment, I wasn't able to return sooner because of my busy work schedule. When I finally went back today 24th August,2026 at around 2:15pm for the adjustment, I was shocked by the poor customer service I received at the reception. The receptionist who attended to me (an Indian lady with a dark complexion and long hair) immediately told me how difficult it would be for me to be seen because there were many people waiting. She suggested that I come back another day without first allowing me to explain why I was there. I had clearly stated that I only needed a simple adjustment to glasses that had been purchased at their clinic, yet she still asked me where I had gotten the glasses from. I found this dismissive and unprofessional. After spending $1,016 on my glasses, I expected much better after-sales service. I had even taken a day off from work specifically to have this issue resolved, only to leave feeling disappointed and unwelcome. Excellent customer service should continue even after a purchase has been made. Unfortunately, my experience at FYI Doctors Airdrie did not reflect that and I left without having my glasses adjusted. There is a whide range of beautiful designer frames, not a lot of cheaper options though. They have a good assortment of reading magazines, coffee and water in the waiting area. The reseptionist and staff are quite friendly and efficient. Their prices for contacts are standard. I once had to exchange one type of unopened contacts for another and there was no issue. They did undercharge me once, so they tacked the difference on to my next vist, but it wasn't a big deal. Dr. Michelle Naruszewicz, who I see, makes my visits so easy going! She explains everything thouroughly to me, even showing me pictures of what she is talking about! For instance I had minor inflammation under my eye lids, she recommended only what was needed to treat it and nothing else. She is what makes me want to come back and what makes me want to take care of my eyes. I highly recommend visiting Mountian View, they will take care of you well!
