I had some issues with time, transportation, (my eyes were dilated, so I couldn't drive) and I have a four month old puppy, who has huge separation anxiety. I had wanted to postpone the appointment, but they accommodated myself and my puppy. I was able to bring him with me, the ladies watched him, and I had the testing I needed done. They were amazing. I am pleasantly surprised and very grateful for their kindness, helpfulness and going above and beyond for my situation. The office was nicely decorated for Christmas and the overall feel was clean and comfortable. I will highly recommend this business to anyone needing eye care. Very impressive and an great experience I won't soon forget.

He kept selling me expensive drops from his shop visit and told me it wasn't improving, to make another appointment in two weeks. His arrogant attitude was way over the top. Eventually I stop the sessions and booked with another optometrist who informed that all I needed to do was solve my issue was use warm water compress on my eyes a couple of times a day. After only a few months my condition had returned to normal. I purchased at least one pair of new glasses from this place but there seemed to be a continual intimidation tactic to buy more. I just had my eye exam today by Dr. Anthony Fu and some pre-tests completed by Kelly. Dr. Fu was very professional and thorough. Unlike other optometrists I've visited in downtown area, he took the time to complete the examination and answered my questions. His recommendation for contact lens was unbiased and straightly based on my wearing preference / frequency. He even checked my contact lens fitting after I put on the trial pairs. Both my two young children had their eye exam done by Dr. Fu as well and they are equipped well to catch the kids' attention during the exam. Victoria at the reception desk was very friendly as well. I booked an appointment online last Monday to update my eyeglass prescription and received a phone call at home that night at 8:45pm to confirm said appointment. The guy told me I had a choice of 3 or 6pm the next day so chose the 3pm. I arrived the next day at my appointment time only to be greeted by a receptionist stuffing her face with food. I told her I was there for my 3pm appointment and she looked at me like I was crazy and told me that not only did I not have an appointment but that they don't take appointments at 3pm and the eye doctor wasn't even there. After arguing with her that yes, I had definitely booked the appointment there and talked to someone the night before she finally made some phone calls. Turns out I was right and that she hadn't bothered to checked her email for updated appointments. Then I got to hear all the excused as to why the doctor wasn't going to be there for another 45 mins. The receptionist decided to complete the preliminary eye test before the doctor arrived only to find out that we had to do them twice since she failed to have me remove my contact lenses and then we found out that some of the machines didn't even work. Back to the waiting room I went until the doctors assistant showed up. We went into another room to do the actual eye test and she couldn't get the projector to work. After fumbling around for what seemed like forever we finally got the test completed. Then the doctor finally showed up. She did the regular "follow the pen" tests and looked at my eyes with a light. She told me my eyes looked great and were very healthy. Then it got interesting... a few seconds after her raving review about my healthy eyes she suddenly changed her mind and told me that I had moderate-severe blood vessel growth from wearing my contacts too long. She then went to the back and gave me a sample of some ridiculously expensive contacts to try and said these were the ones I needed to correct my eyes that were now suddenly in poor health. Sure. When I went to pay the receptionists she handed me a bill for $95. $95??? Are you kidding me?? Half the machines didn't work and I waited over an hour for the doctor to arrive for the 3pm appointment time that apparently didn't exist and they had the nerve to charge $20-$30 more than anywhere else. Then the doctor came back out and told me the it was actually going to be $105!!! When I questioned the joke of the bill the doctor told me there was a $10 extra charge because I wore contacts (huh??) and that it also covered the cost of the FREE sample of contacts she gave me. I took the contacts out of my pocket and told her she could keep her "free" pair of expensive contacts and that I was paying the $95. She grab the lenses off the counter and literally stormed into the back room and SLAMMED the door behind her like a freaking child. End result... NEVER BOOK ANYTHING HERE EVER!

There is a whide range of beautiful designer frames, not a lot of cheaper options though. They have a good assortment of reading magazines, coffee and water in the waiting area. The reseptionist and staff are quite friendly and efficient. Their prices for contacts are standard. I once had to exchange one type of unopened contacts for another and there was no issue. They did undercharge me once, so they tacked the difference on to my next vist, but it wasn't a big deal. Dr. Michelle Naruszewicz, who I see, makes my visits so easy going! She explains everything thouroughly to me, even showing me pictures of what she is talking about! For instance I had minor inflammation under my eye lids, she recommended only what was needed to treat it and nothing else. She is what makes me want to come back and what makes me want to take care of my eyes. I highly recommend visiting Mountian View, they will take care of you well!
