I got a ride after the Outside Lands festival in Golden Gate Park at the end of August when I wasn't even looking for one! I had lost my friends during the festival and was looking for the way to the nearest bus afterwards, and was a little lost. The driver offered to give me a ride, since he already had a couple other groups he was dropping off and there was room in the van for one more.
