Brandon was doing repair work on a couple of rental properties. In the 3 months I was working with him he double billed labor, did not complete the work and the work he did was shoddy at best. Brandon Bedard the owner of this company lied to us and left us without a unit after he improperly installed a new air conditioner for us last summer . We had waited 6 weeks during the summer heat for our new unit and we ended up with water damage that led to $20,000 worth of damage to our home! He didn't care and sent his two employees to look at the damage. Garbage company. I was assigned to them for a heating repair through my home warranty company (like many other reviewers here it seems,) despite the fact that I have my own service company I prefer (more on that later.) They were supposed to arrive between 8:20-12:00. I took the morning off from work so I'd be available. At 11:50 I got a text saying they were finally on their way and their ETA was 12:30 (a half hour after my service window-- no heads up at any point earlier in the morning that they'd be late.) The guy showed up at 12:02 (so late, but not by much, but FAR off from the ETA I got from dispatch. These are COVID times, and cases in CA are terrible right now, so I answered the door with my mask on. He did NOT have a mask on, though he did stand a ways away. Before he even came in he said his company had demanded I pay the service fee up front. I refused, due to the other reviews I'd already read about this company (people saying they'd pay the fee, the tech would come in and check 2 things, say they'd need a part, then leave and never come back.) I told him to leave and I'd figure something else out. I called my home warranty company, explained, and they authorized me to move forward with my preferred service provider, assuming all protocol was followed. I could be here all day typing about how awful they are. Never on time. On our 4th visit because the first time they spent 10 minutes at 9ur house then the owner said nothing is wrong. Had them come out again ( through our home warranty) and they found our condenser was bad. 3rd time they go to replace it and they blew up the motor to our ac. They are out a fourth time and crossing my fingers its the last. The owner is rude. The person who answers the phone does nothing but deflect blame on the customer. Air Technology was assigned by Select Home Warranty to repair my heater. They came to my property five times, four hour windows, 20 hours of my time, sitting and waiting, to repair a heater. They would send an email scheduling appointments without contacting me first--no regard for my schedule. They were no shows several times, or delayed, always with excuses or apologies. Five weeks later, I still do not have heat. I am 73 years old and disabled. Their customer service receptionist, Sheila, is unfriendly and rude. Each time I call there's a different excuse. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! 1. They took a lengthy time to respond to my original call. 2. They were suppose to fix my dish washer and clothes dryer when they came out on a call. I had explained what was wrong with each appliance. They did not have parts, so they had to order them. 3. Poor work - First: They came out a second time to install parts. The repairman was less than satisfactory. When he fixed the dishwasher, he forgot to put a hose back correctly so when he tested it water went all over my kitchen floor. Secondly: when he worked on my dryer he glued in a part backwards with industrial glue, had to tear out my part and glue it in correctly, leaving a mess of glue on the outside of the part. I had to scrub and clean this after he left with alcohol - it still has glue that won't come off. Third: While working on my dryer the technician slammed my dryer door and broke the bracket that holds the door closed. He left and didn't tell me about it. When I inspected the dryer (while cleaning the glue) I found that it was broken and called the technician. He admitted to breaking it and said he would order the part and come back out and fix it - he never did. I Called several times and he kept telling me it was being ordered and just didn't acknowledge my call. 4. The office staff is horribly rude on the phone - very poor customer service. Instead of trying to make things right, the lady on the phone literally sat on the phone in silence when she wanted to and ignored me. I am appalled. This is no way to treat anyone. Needless to say, I am not surprised by all of the poor reviews about this company. It is too bad that there is such a lack of customer service these days. Not only did it take them over aa day to get out in close to 100-degree weather, but the tech told my parents he would call into their warehouse to see if they had the part needed to get the AC fixed same day or the next day. After not hearing back for an entire day/night the next morning we called them. They were not only rude but the women told us she was a manager and that the owner was taking a nap. She also stated that there was no way for them to call the warehouse. She said that it is their policy that all orders be submitted at the end of the day when tech's return. Furthermore, she went on to explain that she had 10 other orders to process before ours. I explained what the tech had told my parents about calling the warehouse and she rudely stated: "I know for a fact that is not true because our tech's know better". I then asked if she was implying my parents are lying. She said, "well I know our tech would not have said that". Not only did my parents have to get a hotel room for the first night, but after the call with this VERY RUDE women, they had to extend it through Monday for a total of 4 nights as she told them they would not be able to get anything done before Monday. Monday rolls around and my parents had not heard anything. My mom called and left a message at 9am. Still not hearing anything back hours later she called again. This time the same rude women answered and told my mom that they would not be coming back out as she did not like the way she was spoken to. How UNPROFESSIONAL!!! This company is not only rude, lazy, unprofessional, but they also give false information and do not follow through. If my mom would not have continued to call they would have just not returned at all with no word. This is the most awful display of professionalism I have ever seen in what likes to call themselves a business. Horrible service..... they sent a tech out to fix my washer that had no knowledge of how to fix my machine. Washer started making a banging noise and smelling burnt after they said it was fixed. The owner Brandon Bedard came out to look at it and said it should be fine. Having the same problem three months later I called Brandon back out, said he fixed the problem. I started a load and not even five min. into the cycle it stopped working. Called the compay right away and left a message. They have never returned my call and won't answer their phone. I called them from a different number and they answered right away. I asked if Brandon could give me a call back, his receptionist said he was too busy and would not be able to talk to me. Brandon and his helper came out to my house within the estimated service window and quickly began troubleshooting my heating problem. Although they had to come back the following day because the part they had with them had a factory defect, they arrived on-time and resolved my issue within 30-minutes. 5-stars to Brandon and Air Technology for being on-time (twice), knowledgable, friendly, hardworking, and putting on shoe covers to protect my floors! I had my reservations considering the previous Yelp reviews, but it is my impression after speaking with Brandon that he has learned from past missteps and is prioritizing quality service! Air Technology does not stand behind their work or complete work contracted and paid for. They installed installation inside the ducting, not outside as it should have been; therefore, I did not pass inspection for a new AC unit. I had another inspection and he return vent that they installed did not pass inspection, because it was not located in the proper area to work efficiently. Now, a third inspection and the state inspector found a long break in the air duct and said that it had never been replace (I paid for new ducting)--failed another inspection for an air-conditioner to be installed. The thermostat on the wall kept coming loose and they charged me to come back and secure it in place--should have been their cost, not mine for their shoddy work. It came loose from the wall for the third time and they wanted to charge me again, but I chose to hire a licensed electrician and it is now secure and holding. I have had two licensed companies come out for inspections and they are telling me that the ducting was never replaced--I have the same old ducting. Terrible company! I would not recommend Air Technology. I totally agree with all of the other bad reviews. We had no choice in hiring this company. This contractor was selected by our home warranty company and is an hour from our location. This company sends technicians out that don't have proper tools. After being at our home for 5 minutes he asked if we had a Phillip's screwdriver. I couldn't find one. Then the technician states that he only has $5.00 for lunch money and can't purchase a Phillips screw driver and if he had a Phillip's screw driver he could fix the refrigerator in 15 minutes. He stated that we needed to reschedule then lied to the warranty company that we didn't want him to do the work. Didn't mention anything about not having the proper tools and put the blame on us. I contacted the office of Air Technology after I found out the technician lied to our home warranty company about what happened. He obviously lied to his employer about what exactly happened and this company was siding with the technician. I asked for the owner to contact me and never heard from him. So where do I start..... When they came out to fix my AC unit the first technician wired the unit wrong blowing the fan blower and the electrical box. I told them of the issue and they scheduled a return visit. When the technician came out , he told us that we would have to wait for the part to be ordered and they would schedule us when it is in. They called my wife and confirmed the appointment for Monday between 1pm and 5pm. We waited at home during the scheduled time and no one showed. We called and left a message that evening because their office was closed. We called the next day, they told me they called "the man of the house" to tell them they were ordering a part. I told them I'm the "man of the house" and no one called me. The woman at the office insisted she had talked to "me" and the part would arrive and they would call to reschedule. Since they didn't seem confident I ask them to verify my address. They of course had my wrong address even though they had already came out the first time (when they wired the first blower wrong) They apologized and scheduled me another appointment once the part was in. Today they were scheduled to come back between 6am-12pm to replace the part they wired wrong. I decided to call and verify the appointment and to make sure they had the part. Sheila, the office lady, told me they had the part and was coming out between 6am to 12pm. At 1:30, with a no show, I called the office. Not only were they not coming out but they did not even have the part needed. I explained that I understand we are living in "the new normal" and parts take longer to order but what I didn't appreciate is the lack of communication. Sheila said, "what lack, I have not told you any false information". I explained to Sheila that she told me they had the part needed. She said "well we were supposed to" I said supposed to and have is two different things. Besides why not call me and tell me this. Sheila said I'm not going to argue with you and just write your bad review since your going to do it anyways. Well I did. I am now calling American Home Shield requesting a new company. By far the WORST company I have ever dealt with.  I was at their mercy because of my home warranty.  They ordered the wrong part for my dishwasher  They stripped my dishwasher so I couldn't even use it until the part came in (it workef before, just didn't get hot).  But I will say this young man was the ONLY person I dealt with that was pleasant and it wasn*t his fault that they gave him the wrong part.  Then they came out and replaced it and it still didn't work.  Another guy came to look at it who was very inappropriate.  I had to call them every time.  When the right part finally came in they said they would be there between 9-12 and "I was the first one on the list."  When they hadn't arrived after 11:30 I called to see if they were coming and she said she told me between 1-5 and THERE IS NO WAY she told me that.  She had the wrong work order, wrong address, and was going to charge me again.  The girl Courtney must be related to the owner because she is the rudest and worst communicator I've ever dealt with. They don't answer their phone the majority of the time.  She put me on hold for 15 minutes once; when I hung up and called back her response was, "oh yeah, sorry."  Then when they came the fourth time between 1-5 guess what??? Yep, they had the wrong part again!!!! Unbelievable! You can't make this stuff up. My daughter left a message on the owner's phone and he never called back. I contacted the home warranty company and said I did not want to deal with this company so they finally opened a new claim for me. Do not use this company! Troy was very nice and polite along with his helper, and the receptionist seemed like she really cared and took the time twice to call our home warranty to see where they were in the process of approval. She even took the time to call before she left for the day to make sure our ac was still working. Our home warranty took a while to approve the parts and that was the frustrating part. But so glad they picked Air technology to come out, they took the time to make sure it was all working before leaving. Our A/C went out. We have homeowners insurance. Got the first AC Tech guy from Tulare that quoted us $2500.00 just to replace a few things which meant not a permanent fix because the 3 yr old A/C unit was an R22 which is illegal to have for new California homes apparently. So we didn't trust them and got a second opinion which was Air Technology from Porterville, mind you our home is in Lemoore. Within 1 hr of the guys being here we had a whole NEW unit installed and replaced (the other taken away). for $2200.00. No more issues with a 10-year warranty on the unit. read more

I was getting a new furnace installed and the owner came out and tried screwing me over , ripped 2 of my ducts , cracked my ceiling. Then he tried to charge me for out of pocket expenses which was 1,075 which included the permit with the city , title24 of California which is the duct testing and hertz form, he didn't a pull a permit or do a duct testing. I work in the hvac field so luckily I didn't let myself get screwed over . It took them weeks to replace the furnace. If I didn't know anything about hvac , he would have screwed me for 1,075 . Same story as all of the rest of the reviews. Really wish we would have checked here first before even making an appointment after they were assigned to us by our home warranty. Technician came out, borrowed our WD-40 to "fix" our dryer and then left telling our home warranty company that there was nothing wrong with it. Sure enough, dryer was still not working properly so we called to have someone come back out. Made an appointment for over a week later as they said that was the soonest they had available. A few days later I get a call saying they can't honor that appointment due to a miscommunication but somehow have one the next day all of a sudden? Unfortunately this time would not work for me as I had already made arrangements with work to be off on the originally scheduled day. Courtney explained that someone would be here to honor the appointment. I received several calls throughout the next few days to try and reschedule even though I had explicitly said that the only time that would work would be the currently scheduled appointment. On the final call where I was admittedly irritated after getting a bad attitude from both Courtney and the office manager they say that they are cancelling our appointment due to me not being satisfied with their service. Horrible service. Home warranty assigned Air Technology as the the vendor to repair our AC. Day 1 they didn't even show up on time. The technician said we needed a part and that someone would be out the following day. Day 2, called to confirm technician would be out, receptionist had no idea what we were talking about and that we were not on the schedule. Someone would come out the following day. Day 3 (Friday), technician came out, but had no idea that someone had already been there. Apparently they do not communicate. Day 3 tech said he needed some parts and that they would be out Monday. Day 4 (Monday), called Monday to confirm someone was coming. Said no and that actually we needed a new AC unit all together. Completely fed up, we had a local HVAC guy come confirm the diagnosis. He confirmed but said that Air Technology left a valve open, which allows hot air to enter the house, left a blown breaker in, and he noticed damage on the roof around the unit. Long story short Air Technology now refuses to finish the job, leaving us with out AC in 100+ degree weather. I have an infant and toddler at home. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!! read more
