A salesman then called me, and got very surly when I gasped at the $26,500 price. Delivery would then be in 4-5 days, and we were charged $97 for this assessment. We decided to get a second opinion, and called Tam N Tjz. Their technician Sergio came within 30 minutes of our call. He said we only needed a new startup capacitor, fixed it on the spot, and charged us only $225 total. Our A/C is working perfectly now! Just wow!!! I highly recommend this honest, capable and hard working company.

We contacted Comfort Now and were able to easily use their online chat. Once we officially set up the authorization, we were contacted and on our way to having someone show up to our house. Daniel showed up, masked up and he went to work on our unit. Daniel and Israel fixed our safety switch that was installed improperly by the previous company that installed our new unit. Israel also found that our return was not efficient enough for the size of our AC unit and Daniel went over the options to remedy the situation and financing. We are very happy with the quality of service and attention to detail that Daniel and Israel took in servicing our unit. We decided to sign up for their Comfort Care program to have our AC serviced annually and save on parts and services. We are pleased, have heat and we're going to be calling Comfort Now for all of our service needs. Thank you Daniel and Israel!

We had RS Heating and Cooling come out two different times over the past few years and both times…read morehave been superb! This year we were having an issue with our line freezing. Ranjeet responded quickly to our issue and let us know the date and time frame he would be able to come out. He was able to diagnose and refill our Freon in our unit within that time frame, which we immediately noticed a difference in the AC before we left. Our unit is almost 30 years old during the times Ranjeet came out, he did not try to push a new unit on us and was able to deliver great options within our budget. He also let us know what issues to look out for in the future or when it might be a good time to look into a new unit. But prior to Ranjeet, we've had companies not diagnose a thing and would just push a new unit quote on us. So it is refreshing to see someone who wants to take care of the customer with honesty and communication. Overall, Ranjeet is a top notch owner. He is very kind, honest and most importantly, seems genuine. He even remembered little details of our conversation from 3 years ago. So without any hesitation, we would 100% recommend RS Heating and Cooling for any of your heating/cooling needs!

After a heavy rain, I noticed water running down the door frame in my backroom. I looked up at the…read moreceiling and it looked wet. I poked my finger up there and it went right through. I had a roof installer come over and he could not detect any issues. I then called The Zone. They came out in a few hours. The technician was very nice. He quickly found the problem. The base upon where the HVAC sits showed a crack running vertical top to bottom. His solution: Replace the base which would require lifting the unit and disturbing the composite shingles, possibly breaking some in the process and definitely the good seal they currently have to the base. The price: $1,100.00 I suggested to the tech that I might just fill over the crack with some silicone. He countenance I saw involuntarily drop at my suggestion of this. He replied: that I might not be able to reach the crack where it terminates at the top of the base. On to my own efforts, I blobbed some silicone over the site. Upon closer inspection, the crack wasn't a crack at all but was actually a seam. I discovered some old hardened sealer that had obviously failed over time. The repair was put to the test today after a heavy rain. I looked up into the now large cutout hole in the ceiling covered by plastic and everything is dry. It appears I have saved on paying out for an expensive unnecessary repair for the cost of 25 cents worth of silicone. I won't be going with company anymore for future problems with my HVAC. I feel like this is a bit of obvious up-servicing to gouge a customer for the sake of making money. Very Disappointed. Most folks wouldn't have cared or felt comfortable climbing on top of a roof to see for themselves. The majority would have simply resigned to accept the tech's opinion and then had to figure out a way of how to come up with $1,100.00 for an unnecessary repair job.
