Please think twice before using this company! Gabriel took complete advantage of my grandparents…read morewho are 89 and 90 years old and they were stuck paying out of pocket to fix his mistake. I sent Gabriel a very long email back in May discussing this issue to which he was aware, and he never even responded. This just goes to show how unprofessional he and his company are, and I urge you to look elsewhere! If you are considering using this company, I encourage you to read the following chain of events:
On January 26, 2022, Gabriel installed an AC unit in their condo in Boynton Beach and advised that parts were covered for 10 years. Initially, they were happy with the work and recommended his services to four of their friends.
In November of 2023, they contacted Gabriel for routine maintenance. An appointment was scheduled, and he cancelled. A second appointment was scheduled, and he again cancelled because he was in Miami. A third appointment was set up and he never showed or responded to their phone calls when they reached out to find out if he was coming. As a result of his 3 cancelled appointments and failure to follow up and return phone calls, they had no choice but to call another company for maintenance. The other company came out and advised that everything looked ok.
In early 2024, they saw Gabriel outside of one of the nearby condos to perform work on a unit which was based on their referral. When they asked him why he cancelled three times and never got back to them in November, all he said was sorry.
In April 2024, they noticed water dripping from the AC unit and onto their new hot water heater. They contacted Gabriel and he came out to inspect. He advised that everything looked fine, and it was normal and provided a discussion about valves and said how when the valve closes, it won't drip down. The following day, they noticed water dripping again and Gabriel came out. He advised the same as his previous visit and asked for photos to be sent of additional water dripping.
In the days following, water continued to drip, and they texted Gabriel photos and begged him to come back to look at the leak. They advised Gabriel that they were returning to Massachusetts on May 4, 2024, and needed this taken care of prior to leaving Florida. They never received a response from him.
On April 22, 2024, they contacted a different AC company for emergency service and had to pay $267.00 for this. During this appointment, they were advised by this company that the drain pan had a crack in it which was causing the water to leak onto their hot water heater. They were further advised that a new drain pan would cost $675.00 and that they could expedite the part.
While deciding what to do, they saw Gabriel outside another friend's house that they in fact referred to him. They asked Gabriel why he had been ignoring them and told him about the crack in the drain pan. Gabriel said that they were no longer under warranty because of the company they hired for routine maintenance back in November 2023. They reminded him that they had to do that because he cancelled three times and failed to return calls and voicemails. Gabriel then said he would honor the warranty but that they would have to pay $450.00 for labor. They reminded Gabriel that they had to leave for Massachusetts on 5/4/24 and at this point it was already the week they were set to leave. Gabriel indicated that he "might" be able to get a new drain pan by Thursday or Friday, 1 or 2 days before they were set to leave for Massachusetts.
At that point, given how Gabriel had been unresponsive and unprofessional, they realized they couldn't trust his word. They had to go with the other company who promised the drain pan would be expedited and who in fact found the problem, despite the fact that it would cost them $675.00.
Even though they did not have the drain pan in by the time they left on 5/4/24, the other company assured them the part would be there and be installed on 5/7/24. In the meantime, while their condo was unoccupied, they had to leave tin foil pans under the ac unit to catch the leaking water. They had to have their elderly neighbor go into their condo daily to empty the water. When the company arrived to install the new drain pan on 5/7/24, they advised my grandparents that Gabriel installed the drain pain incorrectly when the AC unit was installed back on January 26, 2022. Had the drain pan been installed correctly, the above chain of events would never have occurred.
As a result of Gabriel's failure to respond to calls, voicemails, and texts and failure to install the drain pan properly, they had to pay $942.00 out of pocket and inconvenience those around them to help deal with the issue caused by him. Again, I urge you to stay away from this company!!! Gabriel had MANY changes to make this right and he has chosen not to do so and not to respond. I urged him to do the right thing and attached copies of their receipts and he couldn't eve
