I'm so lucky our neighbor told us about Reynold's Certified Air Conditioning. Our air conditioning…read morestopped working and was only blowing in hot air. My husband searched and called a company he found online. They charged twice as much to come to evaluate our air conditioner. They said we needed a new fan and motor which, with labor, would altogether cost 2,000.- but they said we should really consider getting a new one for approximately 7k because we'd get free financing for five years and a ten year warranty. My husband insisted we did not need a new one but I did not want to pay 2k to fix it and have no warranty. They told us these were our only two options. After much debate and getting opinions from family who all wanted a new one, a neighbor told us about Reynold's. They charged half the price as the first company and I told them I need someone to come out and prove to my husband that we really do need either a new air conditioning unit or truly explain to him what is wrong with ours because he doesn't believe the first company even tested the motor. They understood and made arrangements to come when my husband could be here. Low and behold they literally just lifted it up, secured it with industrial zip ties and it totally worked. The motor was fine and the fan was fine. They said they could not tell how long it would last but literally that is all they did! So you'd better believe when this thing finally croaks I'm buying my next air conditioner, and every one after that, from Reynold's and I am telling everyone I know (even at the risk that they'll be too busy to come service us)!

Roughly a month ago my 75 year old father was released from the hospital after being there for 2 months. I called the same company that they purchased and installed the A/C from. They came out charge my mom $200 and did nothing. ***** Thank God for All Florida Cooling, Doug and his team!!! They arrived 2 days after I called. Ready to fix the mess the other company left us with. All Florida Cooling had the house cold with an hour and the entire job completed in 3 hours! I would NEVER call anyone else! Seriously!!!!

Fortunately, he was able to come out on short notice and quickly diagnosed that a capacitor in one air conditioner needed to be replaced and that both air conditioners needed freon. He was out the next day and not only did he take the time to explain our options but really went out of his way to make sure that we understood why he was recommending what he did (on top of that he made sure we knew about rebates available). When the time came, and our system died 2 days before the 4th of July, Don was out there the next day to install a new system. Everything that they provided from beginning to end was outstanding and I cannot say enough good things about Brian and Don.

Jose put another capacitor in and said I needed to spend 8500.00 on a new AC system because the AC system would not last much longer. 3 months later, AC system was not working again. I asked them to replace the condenser fan which is on compressor and is a very common problem that causes capacitors to fail. He refused to replace the fan and insisted I needed a new 8500.00 system. I purchased and installed the fan motor that was badly corroded and the compressor now runs like new. I called Leslie and told them that they misdiagnosed problem and charged me 200.00 for unnecessary capacitor repair and I did not even ask for a refund but I asked if they would come out and add some refrigerant to system because it is 9 years old and these systems lose small amount of refrigerant yearly. I was willing to pay the rate for the recharge but they refused to service my system even after misdiagnosed. This is straight fraud. If Jose did not know that the condenser fan should be replaced, he is either deviant or incompetent. Probably both. Its just sad to see people misleading people like this. Beware!!!

That system is still running strong at about 16 years old. While I know I'll probably need a new unit in the next few years, the fact that this one is still operating speaks volumes about the quality of the original installation and the ongoing care they've provided. Every single time I call, I get an immediate response. The people on the phone are always friendly and kind. Over the years, I've come to recognize and remember some of the team like Lainey, Ben, Steve, and David. I'm terrible with names, but that alone says something. The same people are still there. They show up when they say they will. If they're on their way, they're actually on their way, and they arrive promptly. That's rare for a service company, especially in South Florida. Things happen and schedules get tight, but Mikla's clearly manages their time extremely well. They're efficient, professional, and respectful of yours. What really stands out is how personable they are. When a technician arrives, it feels like you're talking to someone you know, not just a random service call. The technicians are friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely care. The ladies in the office are always kind and helpful. They've been to my house at least 10 times over the past 16 years, and that kind of long-term relationship matters. You get to know people. When you see the same faces year after year, it tells you the owner and his son are doing something right. They keep their employees happy, and that carries through to the customer experience. If I could give them a thousand stars, I would. Mikla's Air is the only company I recommend for A/C work. Solid people, reliable service, and a genuinely great company.
