I came here for a Mother's Day brunch with the family. It was great all around, from the service and attentiveness of our waitress (making sure our bottomless mimosa glasses were never empty), the great music that was playing and the food. I would definitely recommend this location as it checked all the boxes!

Food just okay. The vibes are best for drinks to start off a GNO. For starters the Caesar was mid and the burrata was so disappointing. It was unseasoned; literally no salt, pepper or even olive oil. For mains the penne alla vodka was unmemorable. The kale and burrata pizza was plain but probably my favorite dish of the night. The service was also lacking; it took forever to flag over the waiter to order wine. I've been one other time for drinks and had a better experience because we had a table reserved and the just ordered from the adjacent bar.

The place is big, the path to get to the bathroom is farther than desired better signage would be appreciated. The music was rly interesting didn't seem to match the vibe, distracted from the experience, lights would randomly dim then start up again??? Food was ok, flavor tends be a bit strong like arancini too cheesy, pasta too tomato like it gets heavy after a few bites. For Italian, I didn't expect much but was dissapointed

The Ainslie Bowery is a very spacious bar and restaurant. It offers American cuisine and a full Alcohol menu. There are actually two bar areas on site. And not to mention, three full spacious dining areas plus a private curtained area for events. I even spotted a game table in one of the dining areas. The staff was very friendly and seated us wherever we wanted to sit - indoor and outdoor (semi covered) was available. We were a party of 3 and it was a nice Sunday evening so I opted for the in between indoor seating right next to the outdoor area so it was the best spot given all the doors were open. The food portions were pretty full plates and there was a deal on ordering sides, value pricing at 2 for $18! Think salads, pizza/flatbread for appetizers. Then a few seafood, steak, and pasta options for entrees. Very generous portions on those. We very much enjoyed the variety and fair pricing overall. For starters, we ordered the meatballs, a pear and walnut salad with gorgonzola (added avocado too). Then we picked two sides to share for the table; broccolini and fries. Everything was quite good. I recommend the meatballs, sauce was not too sweet and just a smidge of tart ness to it. Our entrees were definitely generous in portion. I ordered the branzino with the lemon and butter sauce. The sauce was very mild so I would've wanted a little more lemon. It came with cous cous which had little flavor as well. My buddy ordered the red snapper, on the specials menu for the day, and it was paired with mashed potatoes and spinach with garlic. Needed a little more seasoning for my taste but no complaints. And my hubby ordered the shrimp and Oyster pasta which was again light in seasoning. I guess we could've just asked for salt and pepper but didn't think of it. The nicest part of the evening was dessert. While we were not offered any dessert menus, not sure if they exist. Earlier I told the waitress it was my buddy's birthday so they surprised us and brought a candle lit mini chocolate lava cake with a speckled cream, all for us to share. The waitress even sang Happy Birthday. So sweet. The dessert was given to us, complimentary! We were thankful and tipped generosity for the service and dessert. The restaurant is very dimly lit, so if you're going for the vibes, it's definitely a place to be seen. And to drink!

I loved this place!!! Came after the marathon. They held the table past our reservation. I expected it to be hectic and unenjoyable with so many people but everything was SMOOTH. Ordered food through a QR code (genius), bar is HUGE so it was easy to get a drink. You could also get buckets of beer with the table which was a package deal that was done. The food was phenomenal. The rosemary wings fell off the bone, has a nice crust to it, were huge, and came with a delicious greek yogurt/feta dip. The burger was nice and juicy. Perfectly cooked to medium. Fries were hot and crispy. No complaints AT ALL. I would 100% recommend this place if you have large groups!!!!

Unethical business practices will make me never return here. I came here with a group of friends on a Friday night and I will say this place is HUGE, so you shouldn't have trouble getting a table. However, the food and drinks were so mid and we were scammed with our espresso martinis. We ordered them with tequila and were not made aware that that was a $15 upcharge until we received the bill. That DEFINITELY needs to be something that the waitress made us aware of when we ordered them. I don't eat dairy so I ordered the vegan pizza and it was basically just a salad on dough. I picked about half the lettuce off, it was an insane amount. Overall, would not come here again. The scammy drink prices coupled with not great food isn't worth it.

Came here for brunch, had a reservation for a party of 3 on a Saturday. The vibes, service and food here are immaculate. Will the GM is amazing, provides excellent service and is a great addition to this place. We got a bunch of white peach Bellini crafts which were amazing, some of the best I've had. We had some arancini, cacio y peppe, meatball panini and penne Ala vodka. Everything here is incredible and extremely affordable. Great spot for a brunch outing with friends or even a date night.

I had my birthday brunch here three years in a row and Will continue to do so. This place is the gift that keeps on giving. The brunch special of about $40 for unlimited mimosa, Bellini, spiked ice tea and bloody Mary's WITH a meal is unbeatable. However be warned that if you have too many people you have to do family style! Still they provided unlimited of all the aforementioned AND mocktails AND coffee and tea. All agreed that the meatball appetizer, Caesar salad, penne ala vodka, strawberry French toast, and SPICY HONEY PIE were all to die for! What made it most special was how kind and accommodating the staff always treats me.

What an amazing brunch. From the moment we walked in, the Christmas decor and upbeat music set the perfect tone. We were seated right away and quickly attended to. Our waitress Yulianna was great and kept our drinks flowing exactly how you want at a boozy brunch. The food was incredible, and the add ons I ordered were perfect. Even with a packed house, the experience never faltered. We also had the pleasure of meeting the GM Will. He is amazing and truly exemplifies professionalism. He made us feel welcome, checked in on us, and you could see him supporting his staff and staying actively involved in the service. It made a huge difference. We will absolutely be returning. This is a brunch worth attending. From the service to the decor to the food and beverages, everything was a home run.

Came here for my friend's birthday for the bottomless brunch for large parties. It was a pretty solid place to celebrate a birthday with a bunch of your friends! Per person it was around $50 for bottomless of 3 different drinks along with multiple shareable plates of pizza, pasta, eggs, salad, and risotto balls. The grandma style pizza and the eggs in purgatory were among our groups favorites. One of us also saw Dua Lipa and Callum Turner around the corner LOL so a celebrity sighting around this area is a bonus

Came in with a group of 9 on a Monday with a reservation at 6pm for a team dinner. This place is super spacious, seems great for big groups and parties. I made my reservation about a week beforehand on OpenTable. Heads up that online reservation makers need to fill out a pre-order sheet for groups 10 and over, you can find the online order sheet in the reservation description on OpenTable. I didn't get any email confirmation after I made the order, so I had to call in a few days before to confirm that they got my group reservation and well as my food pre-order. On the day of, only 9 people showed up so our group technically did not need the pre-order - we got an option to either stick with the pre-order menu or just order individually off the menu. I chose to just let the group order individually. Heads up that even though the service is reasonably fast, the food will take a very long time to come out. Our waiter was great, but some orders from my table ended up falling through because we wanted to add on orders a bit later during the middle of the meal and it just took too long to come out. On average, our apps came in about 15 minutes, and the entrees came out 45 minutes after the apps. We ordered entrees right after we were done eating the apps. I think this is why they have the pre-order form for big groups, so just be advised that if you have a large group of around 9 like we did, be sure to put in everything you want right at the beginning so they have enough time to get everything out to you in a reasonable amount of time. The food itself and service were all great. If I had to nitpick a few improvements, I'd say having a pre-order confirmation email would be great, and that a short heads up about how long the kitchen takes for a group on the larger side would also be helpful.

Our friends raved about this place and we of course were excited (and a bit skeptical at first) to try it. The concept: no menu + no lights + a few questions = the ultimate cocktail experience. The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip. Serious attitude here. The cocktails were very tasty but the service and vibe were so off-putting,…read moreI will never go back. I made a reservation in person more than 24 hours in advance. I wanted to treat an old friend to a quick birthday toast before a show she was attending nearby. Later that night, another friend became available to join but, because they do not actually have a phone that takes calls (only offers an announcement to go to Resy or email) adding another person was not at all easy. I would have had to cancel and rebook and wasn't sure I'd be able to (reservation was for a Saturday night) In most places, a table for 3 easily accommodates 4. But not here. When two of us arrived, they made it clear this was a big problem. I would have walked out right then but I would have been charged $90! We decided to stay and make the best of it, which was a challenge. For a speakeasy, the vibe was aggressive, not relaxing. Very loud music and not great acoustics.) Too cramped to be comfortable, proving that small does not necessarily mean cozy! We asked if we could take a chair from the table next to us, which was empty (it was only 6 pm; I told our server we'd be gone by 7 because my friend, the birthday girl, had to catch a show.) We were told No! To say the waiter was cold, unfriendly, and indifferent is generous. He was totally rude. He literally told my friend she couldn't sit in a chair that was otherwise empty, knowing we'd be leaving momentarily. Then he had the gail to hand me the bill with a 22% tip pre-selected...and watched over me while I signed it! Definitely the least satisfying $100 I have ever spent. Disappointing. It was good to see my friends, but I so wish I hadn't picked this place. Never again.
