AimSurplus is the only online firearm retailer I trust. They sell name brand products at a competitive price. For context, I'm a CA customer, AimSurplus ammo is so cheap that even after shipping and ammo pickup fees from my FFL (CA needs ammo shipped to a FFL for background checks), I find that buying ammo in bulk from AimSurplus and picking it up is still slightly cheaper than walking into a local store and buying their ammo. I've yet to have a bad experience with any of my purchases from AimSurplus. I accidentally bought a part for the wrong caliber (silly me) and reached out to their customer service and got a response right away. They fixed my order right away! read more

I ordered a replacement barrel, and because it was ordered to a different address than my billing (because I live in town and people steal my packages) they called it fraud and made me wait till business hours to call and straighten it out. When I did they said I just needed to order it to the billing address the first time then I'd be a known customer and it'd be fine to order to wherever I choose, so fine. I do that. The order gets flagged again for fraud, I call them and they say to respond to the fraud alert email with proof that my bank card is registered to the address I attempted to ship to, and I complained that it's ridiculous they're so worried about my personal information that even though my bank gave them the full payment for the goods, they didn't like the fact that I complained that the order I could already have received wasn't even Sent yet and for no good reason, I mean with the country in the shape it's in, this could very well be a lifesaving tool to have... but they just said they're gonna cancel my order AGAIN because "they've had numerous fraudulent orders recently" well that's not my fault or problem, so to use that as the reason not to ship my my goods that I ALREADY paid for is beyond absurd, 0 out of 10 for the entire experience with this seller, if I were you I'd spend my money LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE and save yourself the time and hassle and jumping through hoops for no reason. read more

Been a customer for almost 14 years now with AimSurplus, never had a bad interaction or experience prior to this year, albeit I only order from them 1-2 times a year. Aimsurplus was notified multiple times that my order had not left the origin USPS center. After about 3 weeks past the estimated delivery date, I let them know that I still did not receive my order again. I contacted USPS, which verified that Aimsurplus had already received the claim and that they were refunded completely for their loss as a company. With me still being out of my money, I requested a chargeback via my credit card company. Aimsurplus was notified again, stating that USPS had refunded them completely confirming with me via email and Aimsurplus failed to contact me again letting me know that the issue was resolved. Aimsurplus feebly responded that since USPS resolved the claim and gave their company a full refund, they would "Send me a replacement." They then noticed that I performed a chargeback an entire month after the failed delivery, and told me that I was a customer they would not do business with again because I did a chargeback rather than "giving them a heads-up that I was about to request a chargeback." They continued to gaslight me like I was in the wrong, despite them failing to deliver my order for over a month and stated that chargebacks cost them more money -- even though they failed to resolve the issue prior to then. Anyone else had a poor customer service interaction with this company or have they really gone this downhill? read more

This place is amazing. They have a pretty good selection of firearms and even better selection on ammo. The prices beat any place around and are even competitive with the phony online prices (before the ridiculous shipping cost). Their shop sets out of the way in the small town of Monroe, Ohio (my hometown), and I didn't even know it was there. I finally visited the store and found the staff very friendly and again was amazed at the selection and prices. I ordered multiple magazines and tools that were on sale at the time. I even paid the extra for the shipping insurance! AIM acknowledged my order, charged my Credit Card and sent me a order confirmation email. The very next day my CC was refunded, no explanation or notification. I don't have any clue if my order is still valid. They have raised their prices back to the higher prices, so re-ordering is NOT going to happen. This is NOT the first time this has happened!!! I have called and sent emails with no response. Their website states that orders can be cancelled and will not be reinstated. I was completely floored when the S&W MP 40C LEO Trade-in arrived at my preferred FFL dealer. It was absolutely flawless, the owner of the place even asked me if it was new or used. I seriously doubt this has even been fired yet, and suspect the cop got this as an issue piece but preferred using his own piece instead and just set it aside. When the switchover to 9mm from .40S&W was approved, he probably swapped it for a new Glock. It's in the original blue hardcase, has all 3 backstraps, and even has the factory-included gun lock, the only thing missing is the spare clip. It's in mint condition without any holstering marks, and it's highly questionable if it's even ever been fired, I love it! The price was amazing, it was easily worth at least a coule hundred more given its condition, and the support team was also very helpful in getting my FFL dealer added to their list so they could get it out to me, thanks again! =) read more

Since my review a year or so ago, I figured it was time to update. Since the Polish P64 pistol purchase, I have bought several items and received the same quick and perfect service. When they have some real bargains, it pays to move quickly. As an example, they had some Radical barreled receiver uppers for AR-15/M-4s for a very good price, in 7.62x39 and 5.56x45, and in several barrel lengths, right down to SBR lengths. I am sure that AIM Surplus is among, if not THE best online retailer for firearms and ammunition. I've been a customer for abut 10 years, in California and have nothing but praise for their selection, prices, and customer service. Recently, I had an issue with something I purchased and they made it right 100% and were open and available for questions and help several times. They care about their customers. Their shipping is very fast and the cost is resonable, especially if you make sure your orders come from one warehouse or another - I try to make orders from each warehouse separately, but if you combine them, it's not bad. The ability to order online or via phone if you have questions is wonderful. They are honest, helpful, and wonderful to work with. Their ammo and firearms selections are wide and varied, you can get affordable ammo all along the spectrum (plink to match grade). I love the C&R section and hope it expands, as I am an FFL03. They have great prices and will price match within reason. I cannot recommend them enough. If you are unsure of where to buy online, check AIM for your stuff first. read more

Its about 1st impressions. I purchased two 15 round mags(SW 40SW MP40) and I never received my items. What bothers me is that even though I was charged for shipping, I was given the option of buying insurance for my purchase. But I did not and now my item is probably been stolen by USPS employee. I contacted them(Aim Surplus) via email and was responded " I see you did not select the shipping insurance for this order to cover against being lost or stolen?" What gets me is that I have experience buying gun magazines from vendors like The Mag Shack, Gun Mag Warehouse, Brownell's, Nimrods Wares, Sportsman Outdoor Superstore, and NONE of these vendors request you to buy extra insurance for your shipment. And yes ALL MY PURCHASES arrive with no issues in shipment from these vendors I question Aim Surplus, if they package their shipments carefully, based on if you pay that extra amount?? I've ordered ammo and parts from their online store and have never had an issue. The one time I made a mistake of using an incorrect address, customer service reached me very fast and had it fixed with NO issues. I live in CA and have heard of there being issues with stripped lowers and firearms, but since I've not ordered either from them I have no issues with them. With the XM855 / SS109 scare, they were one of the few places NOT to drive prices up through the roof. So from my experience I'd say they're good. I just wish they had more stock and inventory to select from. Also a different website layout, dragging my mouse down a menu for it to stay open is annoying. read more

WARNING: The distasteful sense of sordid honor is like the lingering smell of a corpse. My 6/5/18 experience was poor. We physically visited the store during an advertised sale of 9mm stock @ $6.95/box. The counter guy said to our 2K and 1K orders: "We're out of it but would you like another brand at the same price?" Sellier & Bellot was substituted. Hours later the receipts were examined and charges were $8.95/box. Call one assured me the amount would be changed by the time the CCard was posted; it was not. Call two produced a reply that S&B @ $6.95 would be below cost and that it's my responsibility to check the receipt before I leave the door. Ostensibly this absolves AIM of consequence for sales counter error and/or bait &s witch which was then compounded by business arrogance. So much for integrity. The difference is $40/K and $80/2K order, and while a return was offered there is a 15% discretionary restocking fee; you do the numbers. In our experience AIM is a waste of time, interest, money, and gas. read more

They have a pretty efficient set up to buy on site or online. Never purchased a weapon here but, never really priced any.
