I booked a last-minute class here early March 2020 and the process of purchasing online was…read moreseamless. Attended the CCW course that is required for CCW application in the state of Ohio. I ended up arriving late and by late, I mean at 9am on the dot when the class started. The class started one hour before the general business opened. A couple others and I ended up waiting outside for a few minutes until a staff member walked by and opened the front doors. After walking in late while others were already seated the instructor had to display some level of authority by making the late arrives get up and move from whatever seat we were in to the first row in the front of the class. Ok, be that guy. The remainder of the course was informative and engaging. For it to be eight hours, they did a good job in breaking up the content and scheduling the breaks/lunch. Boxed lunches were provided and there is a dedicated space for breaks including tables, TV, vending machines etc. The cost of the course seemed to be a value given the time, lunch provided and gun rental and ammo and limited range time which was provided. (Just compared to the cost of gun rental, ammo purchase and range time). The owner introduced himself and handed the certificate of course completions at the end as he must sign the doc. This place is bright (well lit), clean looking and spacious. Range/Lanes are split into two sides which both have a safety attendant. I have since returned a few times for range time. They offer memberships which I am not signed up for at this time. Maybe once the cost of ammo returns to normal.

Small shop, often crowded. Has a reasonable turn-over on inventory so if it is not there this week it may be next. Bargains can sometimes be found. If buying off the shelf, service is pretty quick. If looking for a trade, the owner does the appraisal, so you may have to wait a bit if there is a line.

Safe, Clean and Explosively Fun!!…read more I'm going to "bullet" this one: * Safe atmosphere. They go above and beyond with their safety and I've never had an issue here. * They have all the targets you can choose from and they're inexpensive. * Plenty of rental handguns and/or rifles to choose from. * Team members and knowledgeable and just nice. Not condescending or over-the-top like some places. They don't walk around with their overly visible side-arms, extra mags, pocket knife, etc. as visible as possible while they are "police posturing" and delivering their absolute expertise in all things firearms to anyone who walks by them, throughout their whole shift. (you know what I mean and you know who you are) * Clean. The store, the range, the classrooms, the parking lot, the bathrooms. Clean. * Great program offerings. I took my CCW there a number of years ago and it was great. I had a really good time with the instructor and the rest of the class. Thorough and very informative. * The store has a lot to offer. I've only purchased on handgun from Range USA (different location) and I can say that the price was comparable and fair. Would I go back? I would and I would highly recommend. I don't go as much because I had a different company open a nice range less than 5 minutes from my house. Range USA is about 30 minutes from me. But I will say this - I've been to 3 or 4 Range USA locations. They have all been great and I would highly recommend.

I just left this store about 2 hours ago. After falling in love with a Remington 870 he had in the…read morestore (used), I decided to go with the deal. He broke out the paperwork and told me to fill it out and that my address had to match the address on my license. My permanent address is in Florida, so I asked him if that was going to be an issue. He then REFUSED to sell me the gun, INSISTING that "the ATF had told him he couldnt sell ANY gun to an out of state residence". I informed him that he was wrong about that. But he still refused. Now, I was in there with my GF, who is a "well groomed" ATTORNEY, and Im a skinny white boy in glasses with NO tattoos or piercings. There was absolutely NO REASON for him to NOT sell me this shotgun. Since Ive been home, Ive called three other gun stores, who told me I could buy ANY long gun I wanted, no matter WHAT state of residence I held. I even tried calling him BACK to talk to him after calling the first store, who employs ex law enforcement and actually had TWO COPS standing there when I called, who ALL said HE WAS WRONG. He STILL insisted saying "he goes by what the ATF told him " and started telling ME something about HB 203 "which would change it to where he COULD sell to out of state residence". I had my GF look the bill up, and it doesnt seem to cover ANYTHING ABOUT selling to out of state residents. It covers getting your CCW being out of state, which WILL allow me to get my CCW up here. So, in summary, avoid this store at ALL costs. The owner obviously DOES NOT know his laws, and/or using VERY bad judgement. And his prices werent NEAR good enough to make up for the fact of being uneducated about laws that affect his store dramatically.

Only me and my father shoot, but I had recently moved out, so I updated my address for the new card. The owner then cited I would need to purchase my own membership, since I don't live in the same household anymore, roughly 2 months into our year membership. This immediately frustrated me, given the history she has with unfriendly service towards members of my family, and feels like a scam to me. The owner was rude to my mother when she inquired about how the firearms shipping process worked prior to this situation. The time posted for the CCW class I took a few years ago was 2 hours off, and this place isn't close to where I live, so I had to go find something to do at 8am for 2 hours. Another time, I had put $200 down to layaway a rifle, realized it was way overpriced, decided I wanted my money back, and she gave me the run around about getting my deposit back, acting like she couldn't find the layaway and stalling me for a few minutes searching for paperwork. All in all, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Your customer service sucks, time and time again!

"A hundred?" like it was an unusual request. The old guy walks into the back room and I hear rummaging. He comes out with 4 baggies of loose rounds. What? Each has a number in magic marker. He adds them up and gives me the price. I was a little stunned, but I didn't know of any other stores in the area. I paid, even though I was getting robbed. I pulled out a card and was told "cash" and then he took 5 minutes finding change. So long to get my change that I got the impression he wanted me to say "Keep it." At my buddies, I loaded 3 30 round mags and had 4 left over. He shorted me 6 rounds at highway robbery prices. The store was empty, the parking lot empty, the service was designed to driv ve you away, the prices about 25% higher than normal and shorting ammuntion.
