Can't say enough Thank you's to Mandy. For her assistance…read moreand patience with us and our never ending school issues. She has been by our side from day one. Advocating for both of our kids. Both in much better placements and thriving. She has proven to not let distance get in her way of supporting our family, even in unfamiliar areas. She is not just knowledgeable in special ed. law, but is also a parent of a child with special needs. She understands the stress and confusion when dealing with schools. Her dedication, compassion and understanding is what makes her different from other advocates but her knowledge in the law and her direct but civil approach is what makes her the perfect ally when working with the schools. We are extremely grateful for all her support and will highly recommend her services to anyone having concerns with their child's education.

I was entrenched in a battle with our local school and the district and was failing at the system for the first time in my life. Although, I have successfully maneuvered through the system with my severe learning disabled child, this situation left me hopeless and abandoned by my school district that I fought so hard to praise. The outlook on my situation looked bleak until Ask Now Advocacy Group came to our rescue. Mandy took into consideration my son, his disability, his current plan, our financial situation, the severity of our case, the legal concerns and the desired outcome. Through many battles with the school and district, Ask Now Advocacy Group was able to help our family and the district find a solution that benefited my son and he is now happy and striving forward in school. In addition to all her help with the school, Mandy is also concerned about our children's social skills and the parent's network and plans/ notifies her clients about events in the local area. if you are seeking someone who is kind, considerate, smart and has your child's best interest at heart and will fight to get what is right. Just in case you are looking for a great ABA provider, this one is top notch!!…read more We have had several ABA providers over the past 9 years and with the exception of a handful of AMAZING behavioral therapists from the other facilities, Get Social! Is by far the best company we have worked with. The BCBAs, Social Leaders, program supervisors and therapists are exceptional! They have social groups, which is a plus! They actually follow through with what is being set up, discussed, needs to be done, etc. We feel heard during the parent meetings and valued. The therapists seem well versed and adjust the sessions to the kids needs each day. The BCBA is part of sessions, which we have never seen before unless highly needed or requested. The whole team seems to be educated for the needs of my kids, not a cookie cutter program.

She specializes in children with autistic spectrum disorders, but works with students with other issues as well. My son has been seeing Cindy for the past three months and his growth in that time has been tremendous. She is thorough, detailed and keeps data on everything to help you see your child's growth and to know when new goals are needed. My favorite part about working with Cindy is how she consults with me as a parent. She helps to teach me the ways to help my son so that I can implement it between sessions. Obviously, if I'm implementing things at home with my son it will stick better than if he only gets it once or twice a week. This is a major difference between her model and some other therapists. I highly recommend Cindy. She is knowledgeable, personable and dedicated to helping children grow to their potential.

The faculty is incredibly knowledgeable and really care about the student's success. On top of typical curriculum, they teach them life skills, like how to stay within a budget at the grocery store. They also teach them music, art, and go on field trips monthly. Additionally, they do not give homework but encourage family reading time. And more importantly, during parent-teacher conferences they not only discuss areas of improvement but also what they plan to do to help your child succeed. I can't say enough about the school. I definitely recommend coming by to do a tour and see all of the amazing things they have to offer.

It has so much outdoor space for the kids to play and explore, and the fact that there are visiting peacocks and chickens wandering around just adds to the charm. My son loves bringing home little nature "souvenirs" like feathers and cool rocks and sticks he finds at school, and they've become prized possessions in his room. The atmosphere is really calm and peaceful, which makes it a wonderful learning environment. The small class sizes are another huge plus and allow the teachers to give each student the attention they need. The staff here genuinely care about the kids, both academically and emotionally. I've been amazed at how the teachers, staff and even the other students have really helped my son come out of his shell. Despite being previously enrolled in preschool, he was quite shy and introverted when he first started kindergarten. He's now really flourishing and every day I can see the positive impact everybody at Almondale is having on him. I can't say enough good things about the staff and teachers. They're kind, attentive, and genuinely care about each student. My son isn't just another kid in a classroom; the staff and teachers truly take the time to understand his strengths and challenges and work with him every day to help him thrive, which is something I really value. Almondale Academy has been a perfect fit for our son, and I'm so glad we made the choice to enroll him here. If you're looking for a nurturing, supportive, and academically solid school, I highly recommend checking it out.

The daily check-ins gave my son the consistency and support he needed, and the communication with me as a parent was always clear, thoughtful, and reassuring. I always felt informed, included, and confident that he was in the best hands. Most importantly, my son achieved milestones here that I truly believe wouldn't have been possible anywhere else. The staff took the time to understand him as an individual and supported his unique needs in a way that helped him grow, both academically and personally.
