I highly recommend Dr. Sach Takhar. He has such a lovely, calm and engaging manner - even in moments of crisis...sliced finger! He was able to see me within 30 minutes of my "accident" and was gentle in his treatment, brilliantly distracting me with conversation. His care enabled me to fly internationally, as planned, within less than 24 hours. He made time to see me the following week to check on the healing and am so grateful to Dr. Takhar - my finger has healed like brand new! Because I have multiple specialists, e.g. gastroenterologist, neurologist, opthalmologist, orthopedist, pain management docs ... it's so incredibly helpful to have him as the internist overseeing everything, ordering lab work and also being able to get appointments quickly for other symptoms. When post spinal fusion surgery, I had a GI issue, he gave me an 'in-office' exam, ordered tests, and accurately diagnosed the condition, followed by a rx. for the state of the art medication. I'm grateful that I have him as the physician overseeing everything. We had a brief incomplete chat about a couple of my relatives and their diagnoses, ending before the end of my info - and she changed MY diagnosis based on this brief incomplete chat about my relatives - AND she didn't tell me what more severe diagnosis she had changed me to, based on this feeble evidence - AND she resisted changing my diagnosis back to what it had been for 2 decades! More than once, their records did not initially match what we knew to be our experience and it took some convincing on our part to get them to dig deeper and find what we were looking for. In one case, they told us that a required test had not happened and requested we make an appt. In fact, the first part of the test happened, but the sample was never sent to the lab. This never would have come to light had we not pushed the issue. Also, it is very difficult to get records and daily requests for status were NEVER followed up on despite repeated assurances that "someone would get back to us today". I wish I could recommend but based on the above experiences, I cannot.

After being told they would fix the billing issue, they promptly reissued the exact same bill with the same incorrect charges. When I called back to again let them know they had a billing error (I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume incompetence rather than malice), I got nothing but attitude and was basically treated like a criminal trying to avoid paying them. Just fyi, they won't call you back, so you need to keep bugging them to get anything done. Expect to waste hours of time if you run into any issues. I'll be finding another PCP just so I don't have to deal with the office staff.

I went to seemingly every kind of doctor, including Stanford Pain Clinic, but still the pain kept coming back and ruined my quality of life. Finally I found Dr. Perry and went to see him. He examined me and we talked for a long time. I was impressed by how much he cared and listened. Dr. Perry gave me some medication that immediately got the pain under control. In subsequent visits, he monitored my progress and suggested various ways to avoid aggravating my condition. After a while, I was able to go on a small dose of a maintenance medication, and live my life generally pain-free. I am so grateful to Dr. Perry for showing me a way out of the terrible pain I used to suffer from every day. From time to time Dr. Perry has seminars about pain control. These are really useful. Also he recommends other therapies that can be used to help heal old injuries and reduce the amount of medication required to get a good result.
