We started at $67 per month and it is now $98! That's over a 46% increase. If we weren't leaving soon, I would be shopping for a new unit.

I went to storage sense on the 16th to check a unit. It was supposed to be climate controlled, but the air was out. I was told it would be fixed by the time I moved in on the 20th. I paid a mover to move me there and it was not fixed. This followed by many excuses and promises and today the 26th it is on the 90,s by late morning and over 100 at the end of the day. I asked to use the insurance I pay for to move me out, so my things don't get ruined. I had found units nearby that were much cooler than any building there. They will only move me to another unit on the property and offer deals but this is not about the money, this is about my things and I am so sorry for the people that don't go there and don't know that this has been going on for at least 10 days. Beware of building A and any promises made!

I didn't want to push him, so we hired someone else to do the heavy lifting. I spoke with Ginger on and off about the service, price and method of payment accepted. On our agreed upon date, two young men showed up at the agreed upon time. The minimum time allotment was 2 hours and that wasn't a problem. I quickly showed them around and put them to work. They were very respectful and careful with my items. We relocated a sectional, another large sofa, an entertainer from the garage, and lots of boxes. At the end of our time, Ginger was called and she sent an electronic invoice which I was allowed me to pay without providing my credit card info over the phone which is a pet peeve for me. All in all a great service. I wish I knew the fellas that help with my particular move as I'd request the same team. That would be nice.

To start the third man comes in telling me he has a hangover from drinking last night, moving slow as molasses. I get my dolly and start moving stuff myself. They were taking one item at a time. I got the dolly and staked three items on it. The third person is hiding talking on the phone in the bedroom arguing with someone, while the other two were working. He was talking on the phone to his baby mother about seeing his kids, you are at work. Then he started crying because she said he wasn't going to see his kids. Then he stopped working completely and went back of the truck and sat down. Later he comes back in and asked to use the bathroom and stayed in there for 35 plus minutes, and because he was still hungover from the night before blowup my bathroom, it was horrible. The lady told me the third person would save me money, he cost me more with me helping. Everything was labeled where it should go. I had to move stuff because he was paying attention. I asked him not to stack stuff so high because I was not going to be able to get down. He told me you are tall. Yes I am, but it's heavy and I don't was to hurt myself getting it down. He was a total waste of money. Mike and his brother did a wonderful job but this was outrageously expensive $1820.00. It took 10.5 hours. If I wasn't paying by the hour it would have went much faster and cost far less. When I moved in to this apartment, my two friends and I unload the same 26 foot truck in 3 hours. I was prepared to pay for 6 to 7 hour.

The cost was less than a DIY with a truck & towing my car. The UPACK team's customer service from pick-up (South east) to drop off (West Coast) finish was above & beyond my expectations. All promised timelines were met and my belongings were perfect (see better and after photo). The consistency was such a pleasant surprise because the carriers were communicative and accommodating all the way through the process. ABF even delayed the drop off for me so I could celebrate the holidays with family. In closing, if all of UPACK's are this awesome, I highly recommend!

My husband called ahead when we were moving our belongings and spoke to the site manager and she assured him that we would have a storage unit when we arrived. When I arrived to Wheeler Road Self Storage after a long day of moving and a very long drive, the site manager graciously took care of me and squared me away with a unit that was exactly appropriate for what we had to store. The process was very quick and pleasant and the terms were clearly explained such as rental insurance, fees, etc. There are great features at this facility but the one that I appreciate the most is the on-site security. There are cameras throughout as well as the gated access requiring your passcode to gain access to the part where the storage units are located. Another feature if you need it is the air conditioned unit option. If you want a storage unit where you can feel safe and have your belongings there without much worry, then you should strongly consider these folks here! There are several locations throughout Augusta, just search and see what is more convenient for you!

Storage Sense Storage Units review I have had a temperature…read morecontrolled unit for the last 5 or 6 years on Dyess Parkway, Grovetown, Ga. I paid my rent before the due date without fail. A couple months ago Storage sense took over this business. I only go there once in a while, but when I went there last week, all the outside security doors have had their keyed entry guts removed, and the doors are just blowing in the wind. When I asked why, I was told there was nothing in the contract that says they are required to have keyed security doors. I have valuable paintings in there and the only thing now between them and thieves are my padlock on your flimsy garage door. Since your doors don't latch, you cannot have a temperature controlled storage. So therefore it is a scam, and false advertisement. And then you have the nerve to raise the rent for less security and no temperature control? I am moving to another storage business now, and you should be ashamed of yourselves for what you've done. UPDATE: the outside doors are closed now, but they have no locks, therefore no security. Temperature should be fine now, but the only security there is a locked flimsy garage door, which in this section of town is unacceptable.
