It addresses all required and important topics, not going into every small detail, but instead directs its focus to the important areas. Dr. Alper doesn't want you to memorize concepts, instead, he tries to explain how things work and how it's related to other topics. Not only lectures but also labs (notebooks) and quizzes are very relevant and well prepared. I think this is one of the big differences from other programs. You get a chance to practice hands-on what you learned (from basic to advanced level). Other than course content, he shares examples from data science competitions, business cases, and encourages us to participate in them. 2. The instructor, Dr. Alper, is a unique talent in the AI domain. He has a solid background in data science as well as software engineering. Also, he has long-standing experience in different industries. Thus, for each topic he taught, he can always relate it to a real-life business problem. This is very valuable and hard to find in programs where instructors are only instructors. He's super reachable and very helpful anytime you need support. 3. Dr. Alper is managing Data Science teams and he is a hiring manager. So, he always gives the best tips on how to get prepared for interviews. The course has a section for coding interview preparation, as well as a very long review session (Q&A on most important topics) in the end. He always advises on the course and examples from his prior interviewing experiences. 4. This course is quite intense and expects students to commit their time (around 15h per week) to follow lectures, run labs, and solve quizzes. I have been looking for Data Science Bootcamps for over several months. Most of them are asking ridiculously higher prices and their curriculum seems very limited, at most intermediate level. Instructors had only a few years of experiences. Another drawback was time limitation. He did everything tirelessly to make us understand topics. Since he covers almost everything (including statistics and machine learning), the course is very intense. After I finished the course, I focussed on scikit-learn but he had applied lots of different tools like Pytorch to solve problems.
