The miso soup tasted good and also has a lot of topping in there. There are medium chucks of tofu, seaweed and green onions in there. This is a very good deal for $1. My poke bowl is delicious too. There are premixed options or you can build your own. It's much appreciated for picky eaters like me. Fish is fresh and there are lots of toppings. The quantity is decent for the location and price. Service is good. There are two employees working there at the time of my visit and I think they are working super hard and going as fast as they possibly can. I got the two scoop poke bowl. It was my first time here and the young lady that helped me was super patient as she walked me through how to build a bowl and which proteins she recommended. I got the spicy tuna and spicy salmon with rice and lots of toppings. Everything was delicious and tasted very fresh to me. They offer some fun and interesting toppings, all of which come with the bowl besides the avocado which is extra. It's not a huge meal, despite what another review said. I was hungry and it did the job but I would really consider paying extra for the 3 scoop bowl if I was a larger person (such as a man, someone who works out and needs protein etc.) I'm sure I'll be back! I got the 2 scoop poke bowl and was full after finishing it but did wish the poke scoops were bigger. Plenty of toppings to choose from and the poke was not fishy at all. Technically -0 star I'm so upset after getting my dinner here tonight. In the middle of eating my dinner, I tasted what seemed like a sour edamame, had to taste it again, and yes it's spoiled! I had to separate the bland no taste seems like days old chicken bbq and rice and that's all I ate. This is disgusting, I had to take Mylanta, drink ginger tea and pray to all the Gods of edamame that I don't end up in ER! I would be very scared to eat raw fish there, please let this be a warning. Been a fan of Ahi Poke ever since going to school in Stockton. This was back when they still used those big clear clamshell boxes for their "bowls". Their new green bowls obviously will contain less but it was still good enough for me. I come to this location whenever I'm in Sacramento for some reason. I've been here at least 3 times already and one time was for the Super Bowl special. This year (2026) was not as great as previous years (less toppings as advertised) but I still think it was worth it. In general, the fish tastes great and topping are plentiful. This is the second time I visit this location, this is my favorite vacation by far. Today I purchased an order of salmon musubi, spam musubi (not pictured), Hawaiian chicken bowl, and Hawaiian chicken with shrimp combo. The food was amazing, tasty, and the prices you really can't beat. The service has been the best by far, Mars the young lady helping me was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. This location has been not as busy as the other ones I have visited, but it's the best customer service in my opinion. The restaurant has been cleaned both times that I have been here. Don't bother eating here, the poke was super bland and the fish didn't taste fresh. The kelp noodle was slightly sour in taste and the rice was super hard (undercooked). We also ordered the garlic shrimp bowl for our 2 yo and normally he doesn't have an issue eating out, but he has had diarrhea 2 straight days after eating the shrimp, which I believe was undercooked as well. In a nutshell; great poke place with more than just poke. There's great food around this plaza/lot and Ahipoke adds a great addition to the lot. Good poke, the staff were nice, there's a few tables and seats inside to eat your well arranged poke and other orders. The place was incredibly busy, and surprisingly, they only had two servers at 12:35 pm. One was managing Doordash/Grub Hub orders, while the other was handling the in-house customers. After a 20-minute wait, I finally ordered a 4-scoop Poki Tray with Brown Rice, Scallops, Albacore, Salmon, and a Tuna Luau mix of Tuna, avocado, and onion slices. I threw in some masago, fake crabmeat, and edamame beans for good measure. The scoops were noticeably smaller compared to Poke Noke on Fair Oaks Blvd. The overall dish was decent, but nothing extraordinary for poke. The rice had a chewier texture than expected, and the Wasabi had an unusual dark green color. read more
