A great way to end our food tour.

The cool little cycling drawbridge is pretty cool too. The restaurant itself was very nice. I was here at "happy hour" after work, very friendly people working there. To be honest, if someone didn't say hello and greet me (not even sure if she was working there or just a guest) I probably would have left. They have Grolsch Weizen beer on tap as well as many others. I miss the Wiezen at my own bar, so that's why I stopped here. Super friendly, young, helpful bar and wait staff. Only breakfast, lunch and bar snacks (at night) due to the Covid restrictions. It's difficult to fully ramp-up a restaurant these days IF you play by the government rules so I commend and respect them for not filling this place with people which I'm sure they could. It was raining outside so I can only imagine how crowded the outdoor terrace would be in the sun. I look forward to many more visits since my new office is in the same building....woo hoo!

Honestly he had us at hello after smelling and seeing the dishes being served to other guests. My bf and I started with the grilled calamari and tomato salad. The calamari was tender and melted in your mouth like butter. The tomatoes were fresh and tasty. I had the lamb chops and my bf had the ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. The chimichurri was the best I ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A special was 50 Euro for 2 people and you get two appetizers (Carpaccio or Shrimp), two entrees (Steak or Fish) and an entire bottle of wine (you pick red or white). The apps were very good (we had one of each), the steak was good, and the wine was also good. The value was great and really couldn't be beat. The service was very nice as well. We sat close to the kitchen and watched everything just go smoothly. The chef seemed to like what he was doing and the servers seemed happy as well. That may seem like a little thing, but it really adds to the experience. I can't say we will seek out this restaurant again, but if you are in the area and need a spot to eat, this is pretty decent!

Not a great option for vegans maybe as every serving is cooked in the same pan, but for me as a vegetarian it's okay, they rinse and quickly brush the wok in between every serving and I just ignore the fact that it's all pre-cooked in the same stock. It's never made me ill and the reason I'm a vegetarian is that meat makes me ill, so if it doesn't hurt me, it shouldn't hurt other vegetarians either. They have a selection of sushi, sides (noodles, egg rolls, saté, soup etc.), fruits, ice cream and of course the fresh vegetables, meats and fish for in the wok and on the griddle. Delicious! Also a super friendly family that runs the place, only too bad the chefs don't speak a lot of Dutch, but the youngest child is adorable and when he's allowed to stay up late he loves to come and chat with people and play with the other children in the restaurant. I definitely recommend that everybody in the universe eats here at least once in their lives!
