Juan and his crew did a paver patio and walk way job at my parents house. A previous contractor disappeared on us and we needed help getting it done before the rain started. He was responsive, quoted competitively and was able to work with my very picky dad. After a few hiccups with the side pathway, my dad was thrilled with the completed job. His team was efficient, kept the worksite clean and did excellent work. Highly recommend. Juan saved the day.

For years, I've dreamed of having a stock tank pool built into my back yard. And over those same years, several people have told me what an expensive, impractical dream that is. Still, I've carried my vision forward, trusting that someday, somehow, I would find someone to help me make that dream come true. Enter Juan Aguayo. In the past few years, I've put Juan's considerable landscaping skills to good use: trimming trees, building a small deck, laying a walkway, installing a storm drain. Every time, Juan's work has been right on the money - an excellent product for a fair price - and so I decided to tell him about my pool dream and see if he might help me find a way to bring it to life. Juan immediately saw the possibilities for this project. He listened to my ideas and remembered my asks. He proposed alternatives and patiently debated back and forth with me. He brought his keen eye, attention to detail, and commitment to aesthetics to the project design. He identified construction complexities and technical details that I had not thought to consider. And after several hours of conversation, I gave Juan the green light to begin. This was an anxious time for me. It's no small thing to trust your dreams to someone else, to trust them to capture your vision, and to bring it to life. But that's exactly what Juan and his team did for me. Oh sure, Juan does all the little things right too. He shows up when he promises to show up. He keeps a safe and clean work site. He manages his team well. He communicates with me and keeps me involved in daily decisions. His financial systems are transparent and fair. He got the job done on time and on budget, and left my newly transformed backyard as neat as a pin. Yet what Juan accomplished is so much more than all that. I trusted him to re-landscape my backyard around the stock tank pool of my dreams, and he knocked it out of the park. If Juan can make my landscaping dreams come true, he can do the same for you. I hate having to write this review, but I personally rely on honest reviews from actual customers when making decisions about who to do business with, so I must. I cannot recommend Aguayo, for primarily two reasons: (1) Didn't hornor the contract for the work (2) Expensive Juan came to inspect and wrote a contract for fixing the fence with three new posts, ten to twelve 2x4 and ten fence boards for $1800 for my rental property. After 6 months, I visited the property and found that he only replaced seven 2x4 (instead of ten to twelve) and and three boards (instead of ten). Asked him to come take a look and it was good that he did come but refuse to honor the contract. So for $1800 for three posts, seven 2x4 and three boards. You be the judge! I didn't want bring him to a small claim court for the sack for building karma.

Juan and his team were able to help us on a project to effectively double our usable yard. We worked with Juan to remove some old maple trees and to build a new fence along a retaining wall. We got quotes from several contractors for this project and Juan was (1) the fastest to respond and most engaged, (2) affordable, (3) quoted the best quality work. When we selected Juan, he helped us with the design to make sure our project was: - Structurally sound - Matching our other fence design - Able to work in some tight corners - Using quality parts (wood, fasteners, etc.) - Adhered to city requirements and also did not harm our wall The team got our project done in two days and in the budget they quoted. The end result looks awesome. We would recommend Juan and his team and we will absolutely work with them again in the future.

8 weeks ago I spent $1400 get my back lawn reseeded. I kept both of my dogs off of it for 8 weeks and watered religiously as directed. However the lawn looks awful, basically there's grass where it already existed and nothing more. I asked Juan to rectify this and he said he would but since then he has NOT responded to my emails for 9 days (previously always responded same day) to schedule a time to fix it. I'm so disappointed to be let down by them. My yard looks terrible. As a female homeowner I feel like I was taken advantage of. I guess at this point I will be taking care of it myself. **in response to your comment 1) you said you would come redo the seeding and I see you have still not tried to rectify that. 2) lots of people have dogs and successfully have their lawns overseeded. As I stated my dogs did not go to the bathroom on the lawn for 8 weeks and it still looks like this. I only have 2 dogs, not an entire pack. Even when they did use the lawn the only pee in the edge where there is ironically lots of grass and always has been. 3) Interesting that you respond to my review within an hour of posting it but eight days later still haven't responded to my email. 4) I find this completely inadequate response to be almost worse than the terrible work you did.

Juan was really great to work with. We needed a fence put in and was able to come out quickly to do a quote. We ended up having to delay the project by a couple months but he was very understanding and easy to work with. Fence is up now and it looks great. He was really fast and helped answer my questions as they came up.

Juan is a true landscaping professional. We have a sloped yard and wanted to put in a paver patio as well as a path connecting to the yard. Juan was able to work with us and scope out the project, which included putting in a retaining wall. He was also flexible with adding an additional work order that we tacked on for stripping off old soil and mulch around the yard and replacing it with rocks. Juan and his crew were very respectful of the property and worked tirelessly to complete the project. Some plants were uprooted during the process and Juan reminded me to keep them watered (which I forgot to do) and when I finally did remember, I noticed that he had watered them for me. It was a nice touch. Being new to the area, I was dreading having to find a reliable and trustworthy general contractor but I think I've found that with Aguayo GC. I hope I have the same luck finding a new dentist and auto shop.

We used Aguayo because we needed a large 50ft tree removed from our backyard and Aguayo was able to come out for a free estimate. After we compared quotes with several other local companies we decided to go with Aguayo. They had the best rate, best timeline, and great reviews online. We were lucky we went with Aguayo because they not only removed our large tree in one day, they were also very professional, methodical, and a great company to work with. I was so impressed with how our yard looked after they were finished and cannot stress enough how great these men were! I highly recommend them to anyone!

We worked with Aguayo GC for the replacement of our fence and removal of a tree that was impacting the fence at our townhouse in Ballard. Juan was able to come by for a quote very quickly after we contacted him and gave a clear plan of what he would like to do to get a new fence installed. We compared his quote to several others and his was by far the most competitive. We were able to schedule right away and the Aguayo team got the fence replaced quickly. New fence looks great. See photos for before and after. I'm really happy with the end product and with Juan guiding us through the process (we're new homeowners). We'll definitely be working with Aguayo Contractors again.
