Update problem resolved!…read more Old Review, Enrique is a master at repairs and knowledgeable of equipment but unfortunately he has people working for him that don't have a clue at servicing, the service has been hit and miss we started out with him doing the pool service and things couldn't be more perfect he also programmed our new pump to do fancy things and added some circuits that would be controlled through the app. Then he told us his apprentice was going to take over and we were damn we thought we just found the right pool guy so we gave him a try can't remember his name he's a young African American kid well the first week he broke the head on my wife's concrete turtle statue. After that just sloppy cleaning my wife would ask did the pool guy show up this week I'm like I guess well why is there trash in the spa? Don't know. Well weeks would pass sometimes the pool would look nice other times not too many weeks the spa went unvacuumed that's when I told Enrique we don't like the service your guy is doing and would like to switch to chemical service only but I mentioned if he could do it personally we would stay full service he agreed he would do it on another day we were fine with that. Well a week went by he didn't show up so I asked him if anyone swung by this week and he said it slipped his mind and said he wouldn't charge me $25 for that week the week after he showed up and the pool was looking like a charm until the following week where no one showed up again. One thing I still haven't figured out is the billing sometimes it's a mid-month sometimes at the beginning of the month anyways I spent some time vacuuming the pool and spa myself while we were swimming and I haven't heard anything from Enrique so I might just start doing it myself if it has to come to that. If anyone knows a dependable pool service let me know.

This company is dishonest and rude and I feel I should warn anyone who is considering using them…read more We were quoted $190 per month and have paid an average of $528 per month ($3170 for 6 months). They auto charged whatever they wanted on our card. 6 months ago we hired Simpson Pool after they came out to the house house, looked at our pool and quoted us $190 per month for weekly cleaning. Our first bill was $263. No warning about the price hike! We asked why the invoice was higher than the quote and they said "it's taking longer than we thought". Then they tell me if I want to get the price down to what I was quoted, we can buy a pool vacuum from them since ours "wasn't working." We agreed, weren't given any options for the vacuum and received a charge of nearly $600. Our bill never went down. When I asked they were super aggressive and rude in their emails, telling me I am wrong, telling me to "look at my invoice again because they are charging $255, not $263 (completely false and irrelevant)." The rude and dishonest interactions with this company and their auto charging whatever they decide deserves this review so hopefully no one else will experience this. To top it all off, after I put my foot down and didn't respond to another $577 charge for equipment (because ours is only 2yrs old) .. they sent me a generic email saying "we are no longer servicing your pool because we are condensing our routes." What a blessing that its over now and our new guy is great and charges $160 per month. Run as fast as you can from this company!

After replacing all the equipment with something from this century, this year we decided to replace the badly stained plaster. As a hard-core Yelper, I set off to find companies and read reviews. Sunset quickly rose to the top of the list, so I set up a meeting with the owner back in early June. Matt walked me through the whole process, finishing options (we chose midnight blue pebble w/crushed abalone mother-of-pearl), made a few AWESOME suggestions on finishing looks, and let me know that the pool couldn't be heated for about 30 days, so I immediately: - signed a contract - pushed off the work until late October, figuring the swim season would be over by then. I was wrong - I swam the morning that we drained. Matt's team showed up the next day and woke up the neighborhood with demolition of the old plaster. Two days later they were laying in the new surface! Acid wash the next morning, and BOOM. Start the fill. Fast, phenom quality work, and an owner that goes out of the way to make sure that the job is done correctly. Definitely highly recommended.

Roger came out several times and was super friendly and receptive to our vision. BP initially seemed great until it came time to build the pool! We received our first mock up which we really liked, and were ready to make a couple small changes and move forward, only to never hear from them again. We tried several times to reach out via text as well as set up phone calls but Ben's response was always an apology days or more later, with excuses including "the last week was complicated for me," and even worse, just no response at all.
