The 15 yard can was ordered online. It did show up as scheduled, the driver called and was respe…read moreand courteous. What my issue is was that the can was used by a previous user who put some kind of petroleum product in the can. The first night I had it in my driveway I strted my garage clean out project. Keep in mind i worked for a waste management company for 13 years. So I know to expect some things to be left over sometimes. I was walking inside the can to start filling g it up from the front to back. I slipped inside on the floor of the can and went down hard. Still no issue as I thought it was just wet from water from the last load. It did smell strangely like some type of oil but thought it was residual from The previous contents. Mind you that by the time i started the project it was dark out. Next day i went to work. When I came home there was a 5 foot trail of S liquid leaking from the nose of the can. I put my finger in it to check what it was. It was no doubt some kind of oil. I took pictures of the oil in front leaking from the can. When I went to the back of the can there was a black slick from the back of the can into my garage everywhere I walked. Even in my house up the carpeted steps into the kitchen. I took pictures of everything and texts above when Dave called back. He did come out the next day, as it was late when I contacted him. I was hoping hex offer to leave a cleaning solution or offer to have the surface cleaned. Instead he dropped off a bag of oil dry he said he used inside his truck shop for oil messes. This is all good and well but my driveway had no marks on it before this dumpster was delivered. my wife was left with the impression that the oil dry was going to be the only remedy. I expect the driveway to be an absolute mess after the dimpster is picked up. My neighbors have used Dave's I think twice. Both times without incident. As a result I contacted Dave's and expected the same quality of service. I also expect that any oil mess accidentally or otherwise to be professionally cleaned. The inside of the garage smells like oil, the inside of the house has black marks from my shoes. I would have been happy with the driveway cleaned, without feeling I had to ask. But was told by my wife the oil dry was the only offer. As a result of this I want my driveway cleaned, and since more than likely a pressure washer will be used, I think the macadam should get resealed as the pressure washer will blow it off as it is an older application. I, also, don't feel it is unreasonable to ask that my carped steps going up to the main living space be professionally cleaned. As of 11/2/26 the dumpster is still here and we have to see what clean up will happen. I did initially call and mention I was not going to be his worst unreasonable customer. I still don't plan to be, but I don't think that just a bag of oil dry is enough since there were no stains in the driveway and everyone else's is free of stains. Will update as issue unfolds. Right now I rate Dave's a one star because of the mess from the dumpster and bag of oil dry and no meaningful offer of a remedy.
