Usually, I tend to fore-go any rice and get extra bread. As all their dishes come with a lot of sauce in quaint big round containers, I find it better to get the most out of the sauce by dipping with nan. The menu covers all the usual suspects from biriani's to vindaloo's, but I would recommend choosing one of the speciality Balti dishes. There are about 25 to choose from and I usually go for the tandoori king prawn jalfrezi Balti. These will set you back about £7-£11, but well worth the outlay in my opinion. As all the dishes are cooked to order you will usually wait about 40 minutes for your meal to arrive and possibly longer on a weekend. This being the case, I would recommend phoning through and then driving down to pick it up yourself. There will always be parking on the high street in the evening, so you can duck in and out to get your food a little quicker. They will also give you a 10% discount by getting it yourself, which can offset to price as well. A very nice take away and certainly one that deserves your custom!

The curry was tasty and they did well in bringing all the dishes to the table in a timely manner. Everyone else seemed happy with their food also. By the end of the night, a few of our party had indulged in the cobra's a little too much and were becoming a touch loud. The staff were gracious in this and took it well. The only complaint we had was the bill became extra costly due to the prices of papadums and charging for the sundries such as mango chutney etc. I would have expected the pickles to be complimentary and overall ended up paying about £3 more than i thought reasonable. This…read moreis a large restaurant, but it was (surprisingly) very quiet when we went for their Sunday buffet lunch. Smart with white table cloths and linen napkins. Staff welcoming and attentive. Service was excellent - the buffet consists of poppadoms and dips at the table, followed by a selection of Indian starters. You then visit the buffet for a selection of main course dishes - there were two different rices suitable for vegetarians, 3 chicken dishes, 3 vegetarian, prawn and lamb - so something for everyone. If you want to return to the buffet you take another clean plate and start again. There was a good selection of fresh fruit for dessert but we didn't make it that far, having enjoyed generous portions of the main courses. Reasonably priced, including their wine list. I'd heard they add on a hefty service charge but in fact service was shown as GBP 0 and we were left to decide how much to leave as a tip. We'd definitely visit again.

The place has a really nice interior and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The last time we went there I couldn't believe how well they coped with the amount of people - we were a group of 10 and none of us had to wait at all!
