I emailed my idea and availability and they got back to me a few days later because they were on vacation. I didn't end up booking until maybe almost a month later (emailed in June) because I had to make sure I had the right amount of funds. Thankfully the deposit I made secured my spot for the following week and due to wanting a change in the design Yida was kind enough to consult with me on the change. The tattoo was on my chest and it was quite painful but at the same time tolerable. Jing did a lovely job on my piece and I felt at ease being there. We took breaks but she finished in about two and a half hours. I'll cherish this piece for the rest of my life. I definitely plan on coming back soon. I feel like I made the right choice in trusting Jing!

I was a bit nervous and Shane was very reassuring. I can be a baby with pain and so Shane first pinched the area to numb it and it really wasn't bad at all. Stung for about 20 seconds! That afternoon I kept forgetting it was even there since no pain. I have some health issues so Shane was very good and patient about me standing up slowly from the chair and lying me down while doing the piercing so I wouldn't be dizzy. Needless to say to say we have been back several times since then. Took her in the other day to get her tragus pierced. She said it was her most painful piercing yet. We've only gotten pierced by Harry. I usually call now to make sure he's there because we really enjoy his energy. Always very kind and gentle as possible. He does a great job explaining after care and making sure you are comfortable before the piercing is done. He even showed my daughter how to reduce a keloid she developed from a previous piercing done elsewhere. It's a very laid back vibe there. Even the bathroom decor is well thought out. One of their new artist is mine. She goes by the nickname X- she was working at the Hawaii location and just relocated to Brooklyn. Her work and journey to the tattoo industry is phenomenal!
