Well this week I had my first experience and i already booked another service for next week. Welcoming, friendly and its the perfect peaceful and quiet spa environment! I had a Hydra Facial w/LED - I must warn for those who love a regular standard facial this Hydra was different process. While i enjoyed the facial it was a bit drying to my skin today. My favorite feature was while prepping the technician did the White Orchid Welcome!!! Clear your mind and relax you will hear the waves of our beautiful ocean. That's all i'll say so you are pleasantly surprised. Last but DEFINITELY not least 50 minutes is surely not enough for a custom massage which I must say is NO. 1 in my experience with massages! LEBLANC was professional, knowledgable and an EXCELLENT masseuse!! So get over to White Orchid and treat yourself - locals with proper ID get discounts on services. Memberships with great benefits are also available! Be well and enjoy! NaMaste ‍

Then I finally found Park Place Salon -- and I'm so glad I did! Malia is truly amazing. She did a beautiful job with my color and knew exactly how to style my curls to make them look better than ever. It's rare to find someone who really understands curly hair, and she absolutely does. The salon is very clean, welcoming, and the staff made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. I highly recommend Park Place Salon and especially Malia to anyone looking for a talented stylist in Vero Beach!

They can get booked quickly depending on the flow of customers and season. The shop is airy and gets a lot of natural light that makes it feel more spa like! The front part of the beauty boutique has lots of bath and body liquids/lotions/fragrances and more! Makeup is also on display (Bare Escentuals). Besides BE, you won't find any mass cosmetics or body products in this store that you find at Ulta or Sephora, but that's what I like about it. One-of-a-kind and small business items that you can't find anywhere else. It's right across from The Driftwood Inn Resort and in between The Islander hotel and Lemon Tree restaurant (see my review for LT) The women who do the services are around 30 and up and do a stellar job with their services and keeping the store looking cute. The woman who did my wax was very nice and kept the conversation going. She also noticed that my skin was a little sunburnt so she put some phetyl oil on for me, how nice! :) There is definitely something about this store that makes you feel pretty and want to be pampered. I guess that's why they came up with the store name. The prices are up there, just like any other spa would be, but you're paying for the location (on the last street opposite the beach) and the ambience of the shop, so thats your trade off. Definitely a place to go check out and possibly get a service done with your mom, daughter, sister or friend!
