How cute is this place! I needed underarm wax for my start of a relaxing week in Vero Beach so I got an appointment for the next day. They can get booked quickly depending on the flow of customers and season. The shop is airy and gets a lot of natural light that makes it feel more spa like! The front part of the beauty boutique has lots of bath and body liquids/lotions/fragrances and more! Makeup is also on display (Bare Escentuals). Besides BE, you won't find any mass cosmetics or body products in this store that you find at Ulta or Sephora, but that's what I like about it. One-of-a-kind and small business items that you can't find anywhere else. It's right across from The Driftwood Inn Resort and in between The Islander hotel and Lemon Tree restaurant (see my review for LT) The women who do the services are around 30 and up and do a stellar job with their services and keeping the store looking cute. The woman who did my wax was very nice and kept the conversation going. She also noticed that my skin was a little sunburnt so she put some phetyl oil on for me, how nice! :) There is definitely something about this store that makes you feel pretty and want to be pampered. I guess that's why they came up with the store name. The prices are up there, just like any other spa would be, but you're paying for the location (on the last street opposite the beach) and the ambience of the shop, so thats your trade off. Definitely a place to go check out and possibly get a service done with your mom, daughter, sister or friend! read more

This upscale bath and spa product shop also offers a nice menu of spa services. If you are staying in the Vero Beach area, I would schedule an appointment or pop in here for some pampering products. The owner and manager were very nice, and after chatting while shopping we have a few fun recommendations for places to check out on our next visit. Products range from the ultra premium skincare to luxury bath treats, candles and make up. Left with a bag stuffed full of pampering treats. Bonus, they were open on Sunday. read more

Went to pampered life earlier this month for a massage and facial. Asked & paid for a deep tissue massage, the massage was a poor experience. Was not a deep tissue, very light pressure and I did ask for it to be more intense, did not spend time on the areas I mentioned causing the most tension in the beginning, and the room was extremely cold which was not relaxing. Followed the massage with a basic facial afterward, again that room was freezing. The esthetician did not ask about my current routine or skin allergies prior, I tried to share my info but she jumped right in. I spent an hour laying there having my face washed with 3 different cleansers as she organized the product cabinet above. At the end of the facial I was told moisturizer wasn't necessary in my skin care routine which sounds insane and made me feel even less confident in the person who had been washing my face for an hour. Overall felt like an incredibly dated experience, and a huge waste of money. read more

Wonderful relaxing experience! Visiting Vero I decided to have some'Mom' time and use the gift card from my daughter. The classic facial was amazing and Lacee was so knowledgeable and comfortable to be with. I will definitely be back; everyone needs some pampering in their life! read more

While their services are alright, they sell your personal information and then spam you with e-mails afterward even if you have not signed up for e-mails. The method for unsubscribing doesn't actually work, so you can exit the endless spam cycle as they sell off your e-mail address. When I called about this, the woman said, "You have to unsubscribe from your end," though that's not even possible. She also told me to stop yelling at her, even though I wasn't yelling, and kept interrupting me while I was trying to give her my information to be unsubscribed. read more

My BFF stopped in on a recent vacation to Vero...and we were so happy we did. My friend had a custom made body spray created and it smells heavenly! The ladies in the shop were sweet and helpful and fun. They care a multitude of amazing products many of my favs I can no longer get where I now I live- so I plan on calling them soon so they can ship to me- which they said they would be happy to do! This place is like heaven! You instantly feel calmed when you walk in and smell the aromatherapy candles, scrubs, oils, etc. They have a huge list of services where you can even custom blend your oil scent for your experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner, Tanja, also owns Polished, the mani-pedi lounge on Cardinal Drive. Love this spa. Go there whenever I am in town. The products are superb only surpassed by the fantastic employees and owner. it is so nice just to walk in and smell the great bath and great fragrances. The airy atmosphere just makes you want to buy a little bit of this and that. You get well known brands for all products and even the popular trendy ones too. I ADORE this place. Everyone and everything in this place screams FABULOUS. I love the products they carry and the owner is one of the most accommodating business women I've met. She is helpful, polite, and not too pushy. You can tell she loves her business and truly cares about her customers. I went monthly for facials and enjoyed every minute until I had to move. I spent the weekend in Vero Beach with one of my Besties that was set up by my hubby! We found this place, A Pampered Life, from the hotel directory. I don't even have enough words to describe how much the owner and employees took care of us! I enjoyed a wonderful heated massage from Corrine that I almost fell fast asleep on her table (that was heated, by the way...). I then had a wonderful facial by Anita! I have ULTRA SENSITIVE skin and she was wonderful in finding things to use on my face. In addition to the heated table, I also had a gentle massage with hypoallergenic lotion and then my hands were placed into a special wrap and heater that left my hands feeling like a baby's butt! Our treatments were wonderful and they were 100% NOT pushy with their products. I felt they were really there for us and assisting us in relaxing... I loved Corrine and Anita!!!! I would recommend both of them to anyone who would walk into the Spa! read more
