We had a drain that began to slow coming from our kitchen sink and we called a number of plumbers. Frank Haston was the one who was able to come out quickly and so we used him. He answered his phone immediately and updated us as he fit us into his schedule. He arrived exactly when he estimated he would. He quickly diagnosed the problem and said he could get the water flowing but he could not fix it correctly. After he got the water flowing again, he said we require hydrojetting which requires special equipment and special training. He recommended a few companies that do this and told us the key is the training more than the equipment. With older homes this process can damage your plumbing. He then gave us a lesson on preventative maintenance for our system that will keep the plumber away. He charged us so little, that we wrote a check for more than his bill. Funny, since our first question when we started looking for a plumber was twofold. What is it going to cost to fix this and how much will he charge? You'd think this would be one number, but sadly we have all had the experience to know that these numbers can be quite different. I went with them because Jason wasn't trying to upsell me anything, he didn't resort to bagging on the other companies to win my business, and one of the other plumbers who was doing that actually confirmed that the parts Jason picked out were top quality as I wanted. Now, I stayed with them because Jason did a good job, was quick with service, had great communication, and I appreciated and respected that he brought his young adult sons to learn the trade with him.
