Living in a 150 year old house, HVAC and plumbing calls are frequent. We tried most of the firms…read morein the area and seemingly always an issue of timing, quality or knowledge. We were referred to Whitcher by a neighbor, and in 7 years with various needed repairs and updates, they've handled every task in a timely professional manner. I can't imagine any serious customer giving these folks less than a 5 star rating. Their emergency service on nights and weekends is SO helpful, too!

Worse company in Lenawee County. Had them install a tub and the tub won't hold water. Asked them to…read morecome back and fix since they said it's a one year warranty on work and they wanted to charge me. How's that a warranty? In fact, they said that they would come and take a look at it, even though I disagree with them not wanting to warrant their work. Then never showed? Seriously? Never showed despite saying that they would take a look at their failure the next day. Unprofessional. Let's not even get into scheduling the initial project. Dan was the most unresponsive and unprofessional estimator I've ever met. Tried to call him back at least ten times and texted several times to get my project scheduled. No response. Tried for weeks. Come 'on, dude. Seriously? When I finally inquired with their office about Dan's lack of professionalism, I get told he tried to call me and I didn't have a voicemail setup. Bull crap and untrue. I had a voicemail setup. Why lie? Go elsewhere. Do not trust these people. They are unprofessional, not trustworthy, and unreliable. I should have realized how bad this experience was going to be after initially dealing with Dan in the first place.

We ultimately, went with Jeff from Bluflame. They were professional and got the job done for us. Bluflame is highly recommended. The manager Sam replied that Mark suggested that we needed a new furnace, that was determined to be a lie. Mark, wanted to cover his behind because he was rude, unprofessional and dishonest. The manager never reached out to here our side. This is the proposal Mark gave us. We was hired to clean and tune up the furnace which he did not and wanted to charge us twice. Mark never said the furnace was unsafe. There is so much more I could say about our interaction with Mark bias position and his stereotype of my husband and I. Its well because Bluflame was professional and courteous. By the way is the house isn't for sale its sold. One has nothing to do with the other, again communication, honesty and professionalism is key here.

After years of dealing with M&M, I have lost all confidence. The technician who attempted to…read moreservice my furnace told me multiple times that my smart thermostat was the problem. He boasted he had thirty years in the industry but would only refer me to chat rooms if I pressed for a better explanation. As has since been confirmed by a separate HVAC professional, the smart thermostat was only indicating a problem with the furnace itself. M&M charged me each and every time they attempted to service this furnace between November and January, and charged me to replace the working thermostat. Still, when the furnace failed hours after their latest attempt, I contacted their emergency weekend services, but was never called back. My furnace is functioning now after minimal service from a separate HVAC professional, and I trust the advice they have given me about the longevity of the system.
