If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with River City Auto Sales in West Sacramento…read morewas nothing short of a nightmare. I bought a 1996 Jeep Cherokee from them. The vehicle was listed on Cars.com as having a clean title and no accidents, and they assured me in person that everything was good. I trusted them -- and that was my first mistake. After getting the Jeep home to Louisiana, I found out it was actually a junk vehicle in the state of California, and the title was destroyed. In other words, it can't even be registered or legally driven. That critical detail was never mentioned by the dealership. Not once. Now I'm stuck with a vehicle that can't be used, and I'm getting fines and penalties from the Louisiana DMV because I can't register it. This entire mess has cost me time, money, and endless frustration. To make things worse, their lot and office were absolutely disgusting -- filthy, unorganized, and not somewhere you'd expect a legitimate business to operate. Looking back, the condition of their place should've been my first red flag. Do not buy from River City Auto Sales. They are completely dishonest, unprofessional, and have zero regard for their customers. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

Stereo, 13 v charger and aux port all bad. All the tire pressure sesnors were bad. Car had major neglect before purchase.

We purchased a 2014 LE Camry with approximately 87,000 miles and clean title confirmed by a Carfax…read morereport. The car was very clean (both outside and inside) and well maintained which was confirmed by the Carfax report. Not sure if they provide reports but we had purchased one for the vehicle we wanted before we came. Yesterday, I communicated via phone and text with the salesman. The positives were 1) no pressure sales (very nice salesman) and 2) they let us bring the vehicle, at our expense, to our mechanic, who spent about an hour performing an inspection. (3) When we returned, we felt the price was more than fair based on the condition of the vehicle and our mechanic's inspection but we also asked and were given an additional reduction in price. We appreciated that. Lastly, (4) we purchased cash (cashier's check) and the paperwork was very quick. I would most certainly buy another car from here. We will need another one in two years and I will look here as well as other places. Not all the cars are super clean (expected with used cars with mileage), however, the one we purchased was. In terms of service, flexibility, and prices we were happy. The only con is: the dealership is co-located with several other dealerships. If you are expecting a Toyota dealership, it is not that in terms of quality of facility. I will update when we get our tags and title. Thank you Splendid Automotives.

I see Raheem was able to get my LEGITIMATE review removed so I will come here again and say:…read more He sold me a car that was a improperly salvaged title, so no place would insure it and the DMV wouldn't register it. The transmission went out the first 30 days and he ducked and dodged me until the "3 month no return policy". When I tried MULTIPLE times to have him served with court papers, he avoided, and is STILL avoiding the court case. The car was stolen, I reported it and 2 years later he sent a repossession company to "repo" a car that had all of the above problems. When I called them to tell them where the car was that they were trying to repo, they never went and picked it up because all Raheem was doing was harassing me because I'm trying to sue him. If anyone whom sees this wants more info on how to get your money back from this scamming dealer as well as his new address so you can find him...DM me. If he deletes this review too, find me on IG: @amoodybutterfly or my email latayshathomas@gmail.con I have proof of what I am saying and another person scammed by him gave me the way to hold him accountable where he cannot run for his illegal and fraudulent sale of cars!

For reasons with long explanations, I had to buy an electric vehicle and it had to have six seats…read more That left me with not a lot of options, and functionally the R1S was the best due to the two motor range. I just completed the purchase so can't speak a lot to the car itself, but it was quite possibly the most painful car buying experience of my fifty years, and that is obviously saying a lot. My sales coordinator was Tevin, and he was great and really did try to be helpful, but Rivian itself is a complete joke. They claim to be a luxury brand but then treat their potential customers as a commodity and nickel and dime them at every step along the way (do you know there is an upcharge for a spare tire?), claim to be transparent and then things pop up later in the process just as woould happen with any other car dealer. They accept credit cards, but only sometimes, the paperwork is simple enough but is required to be all done on line, which then doesn't work. All in the name of efficiency of course, but it still took me an hour and a half to "take delivery" of the car. Thirty minutes of that was the process of buying a charger so I can charge at home (for an upcharge of course). If you expect to feel like a valued customer when you are dropping 100k, this is not the company for you.
