I chose to leave an honest review instead so others don't end up in the same situation I am in... Like many women, I have always been unhappy with the state of my stomach. Diet and exercise couldn't seem to give me the flat stomach I desired so I turned to cool sculpting as liposuction seemed to be for more extreme cases and was much more expensive. Upon my initial consultation a really nice woman told me I had a similar body to hers and since my problem area "wasn't too bad" that I should see desired results after one treatment. I proceeded with cool sculpting, and not only was I unhappy with the outcome, the healing process proved very difficult. I was told some "slight tenderness" was in order, but what I had was weeks of lumps under my skin that painfully needed to be rubbed out on several re-visits. It felt like someone was pressing fire onto bruises. I didn't notice anything in the way of results so another very nice woman explained that two treatments were needed, and the woman who told me I only needed one was "let go" for giving me misinformation. I spent $2500 on the first treatment which I was being told would be completely wasted without a second treatment of $2100. The second treatment brought more of the same. Extreme pain to the point that I couldn't sleep on anything but my back, calling into work because I couldn't put on pants due to the painful lumps, dizziness, nausea, and this time a swollen stomach for over three weeks that left me looking 8 months pregnant. The woman who preformed the cool sculpting had me meet with the owner Irfan who insisted my case wasn't normal, and they would contact the rep for the cool sculpting to see what could be done. Since my treatment, the second nice woman has also been let go... I lost ten pounds through diet and exercise from the beginning of my first cool sculpting to the end of my second, and I am left looking larger than I did before I had the procedure done in the first place. It's like I am permanently swollen. After months of back and forth and meeting with another doctor (think about ten extra visits in total for complications and viewings), I was told the only thing they were willing to do was another round of treatment for free. If something caused you the worst pain of your life and to be larger than you were in the first place, would you want to put yourself through that again? I explained I understood I signed something saying that results may vary, but no where did it say I would have REVERSE results and such an incredibly painful healing process/recovery. I'm now out $4600 I saved YEARS for with zero compassion from the owner who viewed my horrific situation himself. In fact one of his emails even said, "If the treatment was so painful why did you opt for second round of treatment," and referred to my pain as "alleged" even though he met me with personally on one of my many visits. I found the entire interaction condescending and unprofessional. He acted as if offering me $300 of my $4600 was so incredibly generous. It wouldn't even cover my missed wages or gas for all my follow up visits. Also, I opted for a second round of treatment the same way women opt for another child. Sure giving birth it is painful, but the results are supposed to be worth it right? I was told I wouldn't see any results without it. My mistake for trusting this practice. Do yourself a favor and save your money. They have zero bedside manner, and if your procedure goes awry, don't expect any kind of compensation or compassion. I would never recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I underwent the MOXI laser therapy and my right eye was not covered properly and I currently have keratitis due to this damage from the laser. I am a physician as well and I spoke with the medical director, Dr. Demetria. Dr. Demetria is a GI trained physician who contradicted the diagnosis of an ophthalmologist and treated me in a very disrespectful, inappropriate manner. Instead of trying to take care of the problem, or acknowledge any issues to prevent this from happening to anyone else, he tried to deflect blame and counsel me on the different causes of keratitis. He also tried to blame me for not checking in sooner. Instead of trying to get my feedback and ask for my experience to prevent this from happening to someone else, he insisted that his protocol was followed, even though he was not there during my appointment. There are risks and complications that come along with any procedure, and it is important that people are treated in a compassionate way when this occurs. Dr. Demetria runs this med spa, and was unprofessional, lacked empathy and clearly has one bottom line- that is not patient care. They tried to offer me store credit- I would never return to this spa. I will continue to escalate this matter. Look elsewhere, do not come here, I truly wish I hadn't. ***EDITED AFTER RESPONSE FROM MIKE DEMETRIA*** As a physician, you should understand the concept of an ophthalmologist colleague that was kind enough to examine and diagnose me in between his clinic patients when I was concerned about a week of progressive photophobia and blurry vision. This is why I do not have formal documentation, as I explained over the phone. As a physician, I would hope that you understand the importance of scope of practice and expertise, it is one thing that a gastroenterologist is supervising these procedures with no formal dermatologic clinical training or expertise. Furthermore, you go one step further in trying to discredit the evaluation and opinion of a board certified ophthalmologist in the diagnosis of keratitis. Mike Demetria was defensive and tried to shift blame from our initial conversation. There was no effort to understand or try to prevent this from happening to future patients. I encourage others to take caution, this is not a patient centered practice and Mike Demetrius clearly has one goal- profit at all costs. As advised, I will continue to escalate.

The actual care is good. The problem is the policies. First, there is a COMPLETE INABILITY to reach…read morethe office. They do not answer the phone, or respond to voicemails, emails, or texts. In my first experience with this, they prescribed the wrong antibiotics for my son on a Friday. Not a huge deal if they would respond to urgent messages, but they don't, so I had to drive back to the office after 6 hours, or risk my son going the weekend without antibiotics. They also permit "same day" and next day appointments, but make no effort to actually book them so you'll be left in the balance wondering if you have an appointment or not. As far as I can tell, they simply do not prioritize communication, which is unfortunate given that good medical care is built on good communication. I looked past all of that because of convenience, but today my 16 year old went today for a follow-up appointment and they demanded payment for an appointment she had 3 weeks ago before they would see her. I haven't received a bill or an EOB so over the phone I asked that they see her and send her home with an invoice. Again, this is not an overdue balance - the insurance claim probably just settled from a visit 21 days ago. I think it's pretty reasonable to ask to see what I'm being asked to pay, what insurance paid, etc. They refused to see her, so she once again wasted her time. My family is taking our business elsewhere.

Once in the room, she had me lay down and stared for a good couple of minutes until she said that my face was "too inflamed" to do a microdermabrasion. I had a few bumps on my face (as an acne sufferer) and this could have been avoided had someone picked up my call when I called to ask questions. I had a few scattered bumps, but not a face completely covered in acne either. Online it says the procedure helps with acne, so what would I know? That's why I called! Her tone the entire time was deeply condescending. I've NEVER had someone speak to me that way. Next up, she had other people come in to look at me. One of the girls was very nice, but I unfortunately do not remember her name. She essentially told me to get a pumpkin mask. Considering I had just gone through the worst cservice experience in my life, I declined. When I stepped out, the receptionist said she would schedule another appointment for me, so I sat down while she did this. Meanwhile, the woman with the condescending tone was chatting lowly with another employee while looking over every 5-10 seconds. 1+1=2. There are ways to talk to people, especially if you are part of a small business. I had ABSOLUTELY NO problem with her telling me that for a microdermabrasion my face had to be an exact way.
